The media could not be loaded. Video for y'all to hear the volume of noise it makes. I live in an apartment, and the main air conditioning unit doesn't reach to the bedroom well. It's not easy to sleep in an +80° room, so my wife and I decided to shop around for an AC unit. Our window opens horizontally, so we couldn't get an in-window unit and ultimately decided to buy this one, because it has the ability to automatically rid itself of most of the waste water without needing to manually drain it as often. We have now had it for almost a month and we regularly talk about how we view this as our best purchase ever. I cannot attest to long-term durability yet, but it's been absolutely great for us. Cools the room quickly, it was extremely easy to install, does not take up much space, does not make too much noise, and has a timer ability so we can have it only run for an hour or two after bed and then automatically turn itself off so it's not running all night. We haven't had to drain it yet, even, seriously no bullshit could not be happier. Absolutely well worth the money, as long as the reliability continues to hold up.

Had mine for almost a year now and I don't have anything bad to say about it. No leaking, no malfunctions, practically ready to go out of the box. The remote control works with ease, the air blows with force, it can cool AND dehumidify at the same time, only thing I could gripe about is the noise is a little louder than I'd expect but it's not that bad and if you like fan noise while you sleep, this is satisfactory. I could see how it could be heavy to move, especially to drain for some folks but it's got a nice handle and the weight is balanced.

It's a decently good unit. If you're looking for a quiet unit this isn't it. It has "1" decibel and it's loud, not in a way where it's over bearing. It also has 2 fan speeds because of the loudness it's hard to tell. But the noise has become my white noise, I sleep well with it . It does blow cold. I have it in a 225 sq ft room and it fills it up quick. It does say to plug drain hose in for it will condense water but I haven't not had any issues with it similar to other reviews. I purchased it when it was "on sale" so I felt like I got a good deal. Id recommend it to anyone. Love the remote...I can lay on my bed and turn it off or on...I'm truly lazy. ;)

This AC unit has some positives and negatives, on the positive it does cool my bedroom fairly well, negatives are as follows: First the unit is extremely loud, though that is likely because of the fact that the condenser is inside the home with the fan unit. The unit has a thermostat that automatically cycles it on/off to keep it at that temperature, this at first seems good, but the problem though is the unit is so loud that the cycle starting/stopping is very jarring and wakes us up at night. A solution I found for that is to set the temperature to a number it cant reach (60 degrees F for example) so it stays on, then set a sleep timer for 5-6 hours so it shuts itself off once during the night, or dont set any sleep timer and it will just run. The included window adapter is too large for my houses windows. They offer a smaller piece you can purchase separately for this, but it should be included with the base unit. I used a reciprocating saw to cut the included adapter down to size so it could fit properly. The included piece also leaves large air gaps, I addressed this with thermal tape to close those gaps. It would be good if you could run the fan of the unit while its in its cooling mode to keep the noise more consistent and less jarring, but my work around with running the unit to a temperature it cannot reach is workable if not inconvenient.

This little AC works great. Amazing for the money, I used it for 2 hot Las Vegas summers running almost constantly to keep my small bedroom at 72 degrees then left the central air at 85 degrees for the rest of the house. It paid for itself in electric bill savings. It only runs at 720 watts but keeps a small room extremely comfortable. I also set up my computer in the small room, that room basically functioned as my work and sleep center - all at a comfy 72 degrees running nearly 24/7 and the unit never broke down or had any hiccups at all. The ONE issue is while sleeping the ac would cycle on and off which was a bit annoying but I solved it by simply running a box fan in the room at night for a steady white noise that blocked out the sound of the ac cycling. Easy to run, easy to clean the dust screen, nice remote, extremely good quality and fantastic price. I give it 5 stars all the way.

When my Motorhome rooftop AC unit stopped working mid summer this in room AC Unit saved the day. Easy to install the vent kit to adapt to RV window. This AC Unit has done a great job for my comfort during the hot Florida days. Energy efficiency is awesome. Placed in drivers seat for location near window when I parked rig. Made use of empty space so I didn’t loose any floor space Unit can be used literally in any application needed with a little thinking Vented out drivers door window. Rolled window all the way down. Placed vent tube panel place. Blocked rest of window space off tight to vent panel with simple cardboard and had drain go out thru small hole poked thru cardboard. Easy install. Easy removal. Low budget fix

This unit cools well enough when on, but allows hot air into room when off. The noise level would be okay, except there is no way to prevent it from turning off and on while maintaining a temperature, and when it turns on again it is so loud that it wakes me up every time. The unit should have a back draft control included to stop the hot air entering room when off. The company says that their literature does not state that a back draft control is included, but they also do not state that you need one. Look for a unit with back draft control, and one that will stay on and also maintain room temp, or one that has at least 3 fan speeds. I found that if I run the unit on dry and pipe the water out the window that it will stay on constantly and cool the entire time. That works OK here in Phoenix, but may not everywhere. I returned the unit for a quieter one.
