I've been going to gyms for a long time. But all I ever really used in the gym were the dumbbells and an incline bench. So after years of wasting money on gym memberships - I decided to just start using the dumbbells I had at home. But I needed a bench. I looked into getting a used one, but the prices people were asking - for their used junk - was insane. Then I saw this Lusper bench on Amazon and watched some video reviews on. It got some good reviews so I bought it. It came almost fully assembled in a surprisingly small box and it does appear to be a good value. The steel and the welds all appear to be very strong and the bench is very sturdy for its weight and size. It's also foldable making it easy to store in a corner or a closet. The padding is adequate - I've seen better padding and I've seen much worse. HOWEVER - do not kid yourself - it is an inexpensive bench designed for home workouts, therefore it is NOT the same as the benches found in commercial gyms. If you're the type of person who grabs the corners of the bench and puts all your weight onto it to do some rows; or you lean back over edge to do some heavy pullovers - then I suggest you use caution on this bench. The board (that is the backing for the cushioning) can bend and eventually break. It appears to be some type of compressed cardboard - not thick plywood as found on commercial benches. Also, the gap (where the incline pivot is located) is about two inches wide. I don't mind the gap, but some people may find it too wide for their tastes. Overall I would say for the price - it's worth it. If you're like me and stick to lighter weights and more reps then this bench is great for your home gym workouts. But if you're a serious body builder or power lifter who likes to abuse the bench, then I would stay far away from this one.

This adjustable bench/chair was vey easy to assemble with all hardware and tools provided in the box. I am 6'2" and 220lbs and it is comfortable and I feel stable while using it.

For the money, this bench is great. Firm padding, sturdy build, no slop or rattles, and folds up in case I need to make more space. Things I would like this bench to have, but could have spent more money to get, are an adjustable head rest, this one just bolts on, and a couple more degree options for the decline. I would buy this again.

Honestly at the price point I figured it would be flimsy metal and and have a bunch of rough edges or such. No chance. For being surprisingly cheap it's actually great quality. Its sturdy and feel steady underneath you no matter what you're doing. It's not the easiest to collapse and put away like some other brands but for what it cost it's probably worth more.
