Before and after. The mint was from my stylist and just wasn’t what I wanted, the second pic where I covered my face is with this dye. It’s the exact color I wanted! The money piece is bleached and uneven, hence the slightly green roots so I’m gonna do another round of saturated color up there but I loved this product. It’s more of a gel consistency than some dyes I’ve used and it lathered really well. My hair was damp when I applied since I had just showered and I was suuuuuuuper nervous about the color bleeding out of the money piece but it didn’t! After I rinsed I put all of my hair back into the microfiber towel to let it dry, it didn’t stain my towel or my hands (I used gloves to apply but not to rinse and the application was good color without turning my whole sink green when I rinsed it out). I believe the majority of the reviews on this brand are pretty accurate. The first dye with this looks fabulous! Then you take your first shower and it fades a little, still looks pretty good more light blue, less teal. After 2-3 and beyond showers it fades more than i've experienced with other Semi- dye's. It eventually faded to almost a sickly green in my hair. Also, in order for this to look like the beautiful vibrant blue/teal it is in the picture, you'll need to have your hair Very Blonde! I already have dirty blonde hair, but figured even i'd need to bleach to blonde-up a bit, I just bleached the section I wanted. Once the dye was in, it looks great. Later I had just a Little bit left and threw that in my bangs (which are still dirty blonde) and it just looks like someone ran a Blue Crayola Marker thru my hair...yuck. I would say this is great if you're looking for maybe one months worth of temp color, or a first time dye-r getting the hang of things. But if you want it to last loner and withstands more showers, I would seek out another brand. ... show more

cute color, faded super fast but the faded color stuck. i didnt get the full effect bc my hair was too dark. maybe use again if i can get my hair platinum.

I've been doing my hair vibrant colors for many years. My normal brand is manic panic. I figured I'd give this brand a shot since I've heard people suggest it before. I was GREATLY dissapointed. I was looking for a bright blue/teal, and the photo i have listed is fresh after dying and washing my hair. Not only did this wash out in MAYBE 2 rinses with cold water and no shampoo, but the color is not accurate at all to what its portrayed to be. It was this muted blue/green color even with platinum blonde hair, and the product itself inside the container is deep blue??? I didn't even take any photos this is the only picture I have cuz i absolutely hated it. It felt like putting colored conditioner on. I ended up using IroIro Neon Blue and got amazing results and lasting color, even though its a different shade of blue, they have other shades that are similar to sea witch. ... show more

You really need light hair or it Will turn out brown, I’m blonde and only the tips of my hair went blue the rest is too dark and the color just darkened my hair. The application was so easy, it rinsed out really well too and hasn’t stained anything or come out in second Rinses. I’ve had the color for 4 days now and it hasn’t lost any color. I’d love to add some photos but the UI won’t let me :(. I just died the underside of my hair so I could hide it unless it’s braided or in a pony tail but it’s a lot more blue than the other photos ... show more

I ordered the Sea Witch cuz the color looked lovely and the reviews seemed promising. The things I did end up liking was how fast it came, the price was alright, and it smells amazing. Unfortunately, that was it. Started with recently bleached VERY healthy hair. Not over processed at all, primed for taking color. The dye itself felt like I was applying oil paint. Did not saturate my hair at all. Did my best to coat my bangs and prayed for the best but was still seeing so much blond. Rinsed with cool water after an hour. The results look like my hair was dyed weeks ago and washed a few times :( The color was okay where it actually did take, but most of it looks like I went to the pool after bleaching, just this ugly patchy moss green. 2 stars cuz it still smells pretty and made a good base for some cheap drugstore box blue dye. Which covered fully, vibrantly, and in 20 minutes. ... show more
