This is a perfect option for those who want the cooling ability of a ceiling fan but don't want--or don't have the ceiling height for--a conventional ceiling fan with light. I only have 8-foot ceilings and while the light is in the center of the room, anything that juts down more than 6-8 inches gets in the way when I'm changing my bedding. This is within that range. It was a simple install. I appreciated the tether on a carabiner that helps hold the unit close enough to the junction box to connect the wiring. There was plenty of wire length within the unit to make the connection to my existing wiring a breeze. The plate included fit my junction box perfectly (that's not always the case) and everything you need to get it up securely is included. It took about 15 minutes from start to finish. The LED light has 4 brightness settings plus off and it's easy to adjust as needed. Likewise, the fan has 6 speed settings and is reversible so it's very adaptable to your needs. I haven't downloaded the app to my phone yet but the remote is pretty easy to understand and to use. Since it's summer, I have the fan set to blow air down, and for its size it can really move the air. Paired with my central a/c, it definitely helps keep the room cool at night for comfortable sleeping. I spent several hours attempting to get it to work, read the instructions, watched several YouTube videos, and contacted two electrician friends and this is a no go. This fan is great for a small room. It pushes enough air to keep the air moving but not much more than that. The wires that are attached to the fixture itself are much shorter than the safety chain so if this thing does for some unknown reason decide it no longer wants to be part of the ceiling, it will pull the wire nuts off. The lighting is interesting in that not only does it shine down but it also shines up to the ceiling and the dimming feature does seem to work ok. ... show more

This is a great little ceiling fan/light fixture that is very easy and straightforward to install. The adjustable light is very bright at its highest setting and has three different temperatures that you can morph between. The fan has six different speeds, moves a surprising amount of air for its size and is pretty quiet. The fan is also reversable on the fly, just hit the F/R button on the remote and the fan will stop for a moment and then start spinning in the opposite direction. No need to turn off the fan, then reach/climb up to flip a manual switch to reverse the direction, very handy! I also very much appreciate the cable and clip that were included so you can hang the fixture from the bracket while connecting the wiring, that alone made the install a simple one person job. My only negative is very minor, but the directions could be a little more detailed on some of the features. Nothing is very hard to figure out but a little more explanation of what exactly the Natural Breeze and sleeping wind settings do would be appreciated. Once again, very minor. This fan is a fast instal (10 minutes) and has some great features. You can choose from 3 different hues of white, and several fan levels. On the highest speed it produces a strong breeze and is remarkably silent. It looks modern and exceeds expectations for its size. This was an easy 5 stars.
