Surprisingly worked well!
Color: Magenta
Size: 1.2 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Mind you, I already had dyed my hair black and then had 30 developer done on my hair when I was trying to go a red/violet months before doing this. I only did this as a touch up and to hopefully make the red even more vibrant since it wasn’t as vibrant as I wanted when I got it done at the salon. I used 20 vol developer with it over my already dyed hair and it came out a lot more red and vibrant! I left it on for 40 minutes. It’s super messy though and stained stuff so please be very careful.

Pretty good
Color: Magenta
Size: 1.2 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I tired to dye my hair the way it is right now about two month ago. At that time I ordered HiColor Reds "Red Hot" but it didn't work the way I wanted - it was super dark red, not that visible, and I wanted bright. (second pic is "before", first is "after"; in "before" you almost can't see the red) So this time I ordered HiColor Highlights "Magenta" and it worked perfectly! It is way brighter in front at the roots, because my hair was dyed lots of times, and my real color is light brown; and it's darker closer to the ends, but it's making a perfect gradient! I used 1:2 dye to 30 developer. After washing my hair 5 times already, the water is still lightly red, but I expected that. Be careful! it does stain the skin (and stings a little at the beginning), I was able to wash it off completely only on the second wash. Anyway, I like it very much! (4 stars because even though it says "for dark hair only", you want have the bright red color unless your hair is light brown)

Worth the money
Color: Magenta
Size: 1.2 Ounce (Pack of 1)
It is not super bright, but it did take. My hair is black so I was a little nervous about if the color or not it’s not the super magenta that most people would want but it’s the color that I wanted so it is perfect for me next time I will probably lighten my hair a little bit so I can get a lighter color other than that is perfectly fine. My hair isn’t damaged. My hair doesn’t feel dry or anything after that so I will definitely buy again.

Brought me from black box dye to a beautiful deep red
Color: Magenta
Size: 1.2 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I used the vitamin C hair color remover to strip some of my black hair dye out, then put 20vol with this red initially, color was a pretty dark red (this I kept for a , so did it a second time with 30 vol, then a third time (a week later because my straightener stripped the color..) with 30 vol again and I'm pretty satisfied with the color. Great product, never used bleach.
