The long slim spout attaching at bottom of the can lets you easily see where pour, and you can gently slip the spout past leaves before tipping the can. No need to hold the can awkwardly (sideways or far forward); the water pours out quickly because of the spout placement. You have to insert the spout to the can; spout can't quite be tightened but the O ring provided keeps the filled can from leaking (even after sitting for hours). So Much Easier not to spill when I pour. A lip at the top is broader near the spout side, so it safeguards against spilling water from the top when the can tilts forward, and there is a generous opening to hold under the water tap. I wanted metal initially, but the green plastic is attractive, not flimsy, plus lighter weight than metal (which these days is not always good quality). Capacity is about a quart.

This watering can is perfect. It is beautifully balanced so that the water pours our easily and steadily. It’s light but sturdy. And it’s designed so that the water doesn’t accidentally pour over the top. It is simply the best watering can for indoor plants that I have ever had. And in addition to its perfect functionality, it’s beautiful to look at. I got one green and one black one. The green is my favorite. Lovely shade of green that is wonderfully transparent. I just love this can.

Was getting sick of running my plants underneath a tap, so I wanted a to get a good, simple watering can. This does the job. Pros: * Good looking but not hyper flashy. (I wanted to get the green one instead of the grey/black, but it was going to take too long to arrive.) * I measure the amount of water I put in * Its shape and flat base makes this feel like it won't tip over from being top heavy * The opening is fairly wide -- I don't feel I'll miss when pouring water from my Brita pitcher * Since you can easily remove the spout it makes storage much easier Cons: * Getting the last bit of water is awkward. Because of the placement of the spout you'll need to tip the can a full 90 degrees to get it out. * The bottom of the can isn't fully smooth where the plastic pieces join together. I'm guessing the bonding process at that point leaves it a bit rough to the touch. Not sharp, just not smooth. Maybe I could smooth it out somehow? Neutral: * The bonding points for the handles look a bit thin. Maybe it's fine, but I'm slightly nervous about it snapping off -- especially if there's a lot of water weight in it. * I'll need to figure out a proper way to clean the metal spout

This cute watering can pours very nicely and is lightweight, so it isn't too heavy when filled with water. If you are concerned about reviews that mention leaking, don't be. After I put it together, I left some water in the can. Half an hour or so later, it started leaking from the base of the spout. I fixed the problem by taking it apart, adjusting the O ring more carefully, and reattaching the spout. It was easier to put on the second time, confirming my suspicion that I didn't have everything aligned quite right the first time. Combining form and function, it is transparent for easy measuring and water level checks, yet attractive enough to leave on display. It would be a nice gift for a plant lover.

This is the perfect size for my needs (ie 1 quart of water), there is a big opening on the top to fill it, I LOVE that it is clear plastic so I can see how much water is in it. And I LOVE the long narrow spout - it fits so easily between stems of my plants and between leaves. Also, the plastic will never rust. It is very light weight and even light weigh when filled with water. I put the O ring in per directions and tighted the screwing part (? what is it called) with a wrench since I"m not as strong as some people (78 year old woman). So mine does NOT leak like one reviewer said. I also LOVE that I can find items like this on Amazon that are not in my local stores.

Fantastic watering can! This is an excellent purchase. The spout is a great length, the design is very cool, and I loved the mini directions it came with and the funny message from the CEO. Awesome job Brilliest. I use this for both outdoor use for my flower bed and indoor for my Pothos plants and my ficus tree. My ficus tree needs a large quantity of water. so I just pour the water out from the top - it has a large opening and it’s super convenient to use instead of the spout if needed for larger plants like mine!

So I got the green one. Absolutely gorgeous and at first worked well for precision watering of little plant starts. HOWEVER, it did start to leak, so I stopped using it. Now less than a year after buying it I tried to figure out the issue, maybe I need new o-rings? Turns out the plastic started to chip off right were the metal spout goes in. I haven't dropped it and it's been indoors the whole time. It probably started leaking five months after I got it and even now it's 11 months after purchase, totally unusable, leaking so much I'd have to wrap a towel around the spout. So if you need a gorgeous watering can for a one day photo shoot, this may be worth the gamble. If you want something to stand the test if time, I in NO WAY would ever recommend this. I hate to have to put more into a landfill but that's where this is headed now. I think next I'll try a watering can with a similar shape but where the spout and can are one whole piece.
