We installed this floor padding under our new liner. It does make a difference in the feel of the pool floor. It also made installing the liner easier as the liner slid over the padding easily. The pad is a felt-like material and was thinner than I expected but it worked out nicely. We have a 27' x 54" above ground pool and it fit nicely with a little bit of material to go up the walls about an inch or so. We ordered the 27' round size. So far happy with the purchase. I think it will help the liner last longer as it isn't against the sand under the pool. For us it was worth the money. We gave our 15 year old pool an upgrade with a new liner, this padding, and the foil bubble insulation on the walls. It turned out very nice! I can't comment on the durability since we just installed it a few weeks ago.

The Pool Liner Pad is an excellent addition for any above-ground pool setup. It provides a protective layer between the pool liner and the ground. I would not have liked the bottom of my pool this summer if it didn't have this nice pad under it. It made it so much softer, I couldn't feel anything hard and got NO LEAKS in the bottom of the pool from sharp stuff. We have a country lawn and put the pool on it with no preparation. I only had this pad and a tarp on top, then the pool liner. Did it's job. At the end of pool season it was stinky (from decaying grass under the pool) when we took down the pool, but I aired it out and folded it up for next year. Still looks to be just fine. Was definitely worth it.

We have had this pool for 3 years, we take it down every year and set it up the next. We love this pool, very sturdy, vinyl walls are extremely durable, as well as the bottom. I would definitely recommend you put down a big tarp on the ground because any above ground pool is susceptible to the smallest pebble or stick creating hole with the weight of the water. Well worth the money because of the many years of use you will get out of it. And the pump, even though it seems small, works great.

Sometimes buying items at a cheaper price is not always the right thing to do. This was very thin and didn't last a season. It frayed within the first few months of using it. I think the manufacturer could use to put a little more time in making this product. This is my opinion and experience.

I liked the idea of this. It was really simple to use. I first put down a big tarp, then laid out the felt liner (it is a big circle) and let it sit until all the creases were gone. My husband and I placed the pool on top and made sure to align it with the liner as closely as possible. I noticed as soon as I started to fill my pool a lot of little wrinkles appeared in the liner. I pulled and stretched the pool to get out the wrinkles but it didn't help. I filled the pool. The bottom of the pool is very soft and I don't mind the wrinkles much anymore. I don't know if I will use this again.
