I needed a new camera bag that was large enough to accommodate my equipment. Well, my camcorder and accessories and then would hold a sweater or a sweatshirt and then anything I happen to pick up and then snacks and water. I really want one that would be able to hold my tripod so that my hands are free. I looked and decided that I want one made out of canvas or cotton or another breathable fabric since it gets hot walking around with all the stuff I’ve had other bags that were either too big or too small that didn’t have the extra padding whatever on the bottom and in the back so I constantly had sore shoulders and back, and then I was like back whacking into me all the time so I ordered a couple of bags to see which one would fit. This is the only one that was the size that I wanted and when I took it out, I wasn’t sure cause it’s not super big, but it turns out it’s the perfect size for what I need which is something that will hold my mics my camcorder my make up bag my snacks you know just random things, but still not feel too heavy. The bag definitely has a little bit of a weight too cause I have like padding in it, but it feels good on my shoulders. Of course the proof will be in the pudding when I go to the event for four days and I’m walking all over the city and if I’m sore like I was with previous bags, but from this first time, trying it out, adjusting it, taking the pockets and configuring them to fit the things that I want. I am very happy with it I’m happy with the price and I’m happy how quickly I got it.

This is a nice bag. Very sturdy and decently padded. My only complaint is how big the bag is. I thought it was smaller when ordering. On the upside I have lots of space for more equipment!!

I’ve been using the Rainsmore camera backpack for a while now, and overall, I really like it. It’s easy to carry around and has plenty of space for all my gear. There’s an attachment on the bottom where you can secure your tripod, which makes it super convenient when you’re on the go. The backpack has several compartments, including smaller sections for SD cards, batteries, and other accessories. I really like that it has a side pocket where I can quickly pull out my camera without digging through everything. It also comes with a rain cover, which has been great for shooting in wet weather — it keeps everything dry and protected. The only thing I would change is the bottom compartment area. It could really use a cover or divider to keep things from shifting around when I move. Sometimes my lenses and accessories get a little mixed up down there. Other than that, it’s a great design and very functional for photographers. I’d give it a solid 4 out of 5 — comfortable, smart layout, and weather-ready, with just a small improvement needed for the lower storage section.

As an artist, I require design concern as well as utility. This bag has it all. I have used a classically designed Herschel backpack when traveling, because I love the design and I look less like a tourist. The Rainsmore camera bag has the same good looks. Maybe even better. But the utility of this bag outshines the Herschel bag. 1. The shoulder straps are curved, so fit tight to the shoulders, making it very comfortable. 2. There is an elastic strap on the side near one's back that one can use to secure the bag to a rolling bag in airports. No more having to re-adjust my bag that has slipped down the side of my rolling bag. 3. The bag comes with lots of dividers for camera equipment, computer, and other gear. I am an artist who draws in coffee shops. I can fit in all my art supplies as well! 4. Theft guards on all of the zippers. 5. Water pouch on the outside of the bag, so no danger of spills, and easy access. 6. Side opening for camera, so one does not have to set bag down to place or receive camera from the bag. 7. Additional small opening for passport, phone, snacks, and the like. I seldom write reviews, but clearly I am totally sold on this camera/art/travel bag!

The bag did not come with the dividers or the waterproof cover. I reordered to see if the replacement fixes the issue; otherwise, I'll look elsewhere. Edit: The replacement bag arrived two days earlier than expected. It came with the cover and dividers. It was a little frustrating trying to organize the compartments, but it looks so much better now that I can fill it.

I wouldn't recommend this bag to anyone who cares about their camera gear. The padding is very thin compared to my other camera bags especially on the sides. The item was delivered rolled which shows you how thin it is. You can see in my photos that the separators that came with the bag aren't wide enough to touch front and back so your things don't stay in their compartments - they shuffle around. They should've been 2 inches wider. The material soaks water since it’s canvas and doesn't seem to have nylon lining inside or at least at the bottom. The bag itself is pretty but I don't think it’s protective.
