I have been using Lime Crime Unicorn Hair for over 3 years now and it has never disappointed me. The Chocolate Cherry shade is such a beautiful color that looks vibrant and rich right after coloring. The color payoff is excellent and it always leaves my hair looking bold and shiny. I’ve also tried Genie, Sea Witch, and Valentine, and every shade has turned out stunning. One of my favorite things about this dye is the scent. The sugary citrus vanilla fragrance makes the application process so much more enjoyable. It doesn’t smell harsh like other dyes, which matches perfectly with how gentle it is on my hair. After rinsing, my hair always feels soft and conditioned rather than dry or damaged, and I’ve never experienced breakage from using it. The dye is very easy to apply at home, whether with a brush or just gloved hands, and it washes out of my shower without leaving any stains. The color is long-lasting too. I usually go about 2 months before I need to redye, and even then it fades gradually into a softer version of the shade instead of looking patchy. Overall, this is hands-down the best semi-permanent dye I’ve ever used. The colors are vibrant, the scent is amazing, it’s easy to use, and it always leaves my hair in great condition. Absolutely worth the money for the quality and results. If I could rate it higher than 5 stars, I would.

My preferred vivid dye is no longer available so I went on a search for something new. I've been using the same brand of dye for years now, and my hair is used to the formula. Having to change is hard as you never know how it will hold. I'm so pleased that this is staying in my hair.. I have dark brown hair and I bleach it before adding the vivid dye. I saturated my hair and let it sit for a few hours under a shower cap (to keep moisture and heat in). When i removed the cap there was a lot less transfer of dye to the shower cap than I expected. It really dried down on my hair, staining it--exactly what a good dye will do. Does it transfer? Yes, my pillow case has a purple stain where i sleep--but that is the only place I've noticed a transfer. a place where I lay my head for 8+ hours at a time, daily. I've no transfer on my clothes or towels. the color is vibrant and gives good coverage--I put it over my faded out purple. I'm excited to see what this formula fades to. I think it will fade more pink, but we shall see. it's been more than two weeks since I dyed my hair and it still looks solid. The jar is a good size, so I'll get several uses out of it--I'm used to 2 oz tubes, so while more expensive, you're buying 3 to 4 uses.

Easy to use and I stained nothing doing a peekaboo. This was on some natural dark blonde, some faded magenta (some hot pink, some lighter pink) and a few strands that were already a pastel purple. Left on in foil and a plastic bag for about 1-1/2 hr. Total. Love the results. Probably wouldn't do anything much on my natural dark blonde but I bet my grays would take it.

Why daughter’s wanted this for the summer months. Go to a private school and they’re not allowed to have hair color in their hair while in school. So the moment school got out for the summer they purchased this. The color was great and vibrant! It was a little nervous that it would not be out by the time the end of the summer came, but since my kids are in the pool lot, it worked out OK. If you’re wanting to keep this in your hair, do not go into the pool. My daughter loved it!

Consistency was great! Not sure I like the vertical pot, but that was not a problem for the first use. I can see it being an issue further down the container. Thankfully with such short hair I can easily use a narrow brush. The color was intense and I had really even coverage which says a lot considering that a few inches of my old color on my ends didn't lift 100%. My only issue with this product was that I thought it would be a bit deeper/darker and more magenta (with a bit more blue in it or possibly slightly purplish). For something called "Chocolate Cherry" I'm not seeing the chocolate at all. It's reading very hot pink/fuchsia.

I love this brand of hair dye. It is definitely semi-permanent. It’s not as vibrant if you don’t have platinum hair, but if you don’t wash your hair with shampoo every time you can stretch it to last longer . I have been using the pony color for over a year and love it and we try juicy for my daughter that has a strawberry blonde hair and it looked really cute on her without damaging her hair but I love about this is it’s not going to damage her hair, but allows her to have the fun of the color for a month or so
