My unit failed after 1 year. The electrical console stopped working. The owners manual states that "electrical parts have a 2 year guarantee". The company refused to honor it stating that "they do not honor guarantees when items are sold by a third party". ie sold by Amazon.

I bought this direct from LF. After a five week wait, it was finally delivered to my home and setup via the premium White Glove delivery option. While the delivery team was great, the (brand new) Cross-Trainer was defective and totally non-functional. Considering the premium price that I paid for this unit, I am very disappointed. I owned a LF steppper several years ago, and it never gave me any trouble at all. It was a very good piece of exercise equipment. I guess that quality is no longer a priority for LF these days. Now I have a 300 lb brick in the basement, and am trying to get LF to honor thier warranty. I still have a little hope left that they will do the right thing by me. Solid Professional Elliptical Machine. I did not buy mine from Amazon but from my fitness gym that closed due to Covid-19. Mine was previously used, built in 2013 and was available at a great price. Because I liked it more than any other model I had used, I was considering buying a used one from Amazon or other vendor at $3,000 to $4,000. During my wait for the one from the fitness gym, I investigated maintenance services and found that they are available in most urban areas. Parts are available. I would have paid the $4,000 for a machine had a cheaper one not been available. Call the manufacturer directly for information. I have knee problems and this (CSLX) is the only elliptical that doesn't exacerbate them. These are large, sturdy, and well built. I weigh 240# and it's rock solid. It's in my garage and I'll pop for the ~$200 for a yearly checkup. I've used other ellipticals from other manufacturers at fitness gyms and this is far superior to each of them. That's why I was willing to cough up the $3,000 to $4,000 for this one. ... show more
