I purchased my unit from another site other than Amazon. First of let me start by saying that you must understand that this printer is meant for a business not a casual home user. Most businesses will have a IT professional or access to one that can set the printer up for them. It's pretty difficult to set the printer up if your just a casual user. There's a lot of IT language in the menus and no step by step guide. I've yet to figure out scan to email, but it's not a huge deal. I just email it after I scan it as a pdf. Now with that out of the way let me start by saying wow what a printer. I don't think I will ever need to buy another printer in my life. The large touch screen is beautiful and super responsive. It's very easy to type on it. Prints are crisp and beautiful. The ability to print 40ppm and Input up to 100 pages in the document feeder at once is just simply amazing. Once it's printing its super quiet and just blazingly fast. Now a few things that I noticed that are different from a general home printer. A lot of functions are meant to be done AT THE PRINTER and not from a computer. Like for instance if you want to scan something you first need to setup a scan profile at your computer, then scan it FROM THE PRINTER. You can't just load a bunch of documents then walk away. You have to find your scan profile on the printer and scan it from the printer side. But since your going to be there anyways to actually put the paper on the printer it's not a huge deal. You just have to change to order of how you do things. I have been sourcing genuine lexmark ultra high yield toners from ebay for dirt cheap at about $60 per toner. Even if you can't find them that cheaply most eBay sellers have them for about $150 per cartridge. They print 10,500 for black and 7,000 pages for color. I don't know how many years it's going to take me to get through that but it's worth it in my book. With this being a laser printer you don't have to worry about them drying up either. A few other things to note, yes like all other laser printers this thing is super heavy, there's no wifi (module can be purchased separately), paper outputs at the rear of the printer, manual feeder is at the very bottom of the printer. Those things are a bit annoying but I believe the performance more than makes up for it. Note I purchased the separate 650 paper tray, as the stock tray only holds 250 pages. Now I can just load a full reem of paper with out worrying about having to perfectly split it down the middle. ... show more
