I’ve had $6k hearing aides and $100 amplifiers. The sound quality is not like the $6k hearing aides, but being able hear better is priceless without the high cost. I have no trouble changing batteries and Bluetooth to the app works every time. I’ve read people having problems, I have an iPhone 12 max pro. Don’t know if that makes a difference. I have had these aids for a month. So I feel I can comment on these after being able to learn all it offers. I am a hearing aid lifer for since very little when hearing aids were size of Sony Walkman. I wanted to try them due to reasonable price, ability to tune to my hearing loss, and see if they Lexie delivered all of the other features available. The first, the Lexie Bluetooth download app is very informative, easy to use, it will do a hearing test to find what where you need boosting, thumbs up, although I recommend doing this test a week or two later, because you will be more familiar what testing octaves will sound like. Once this is done the aids calculate the needed gains, and adjust. So what is nice, when I start my day, put in my aids in. Once they are powered up, you can go about your business, here's the nice part, you can use Lexie app to turn up/lower your volume, at the same time, it will tell you how your batteries are holding, in addition it allows you to change your surroundings like normal environment, noisily, music, phone coils, settings that enhance your hearing experience. The only problem is that I suffer from very moderate hearing loss, and although these aids will be more than sufficient for most people, sadly for me I will need more powerful aids, which is sad because said, these aids are going to cause a serious disruption to the hearing aid market simply due to the fact in my experience duplicates what most what most audiologist can do. Withstanding thousands of dollars saved. So I'm not saying that you should not see an audiologist, most definitely you should just to make sure your ears are healthy. But if you are already using aids, the is where these guys really triump over big boys. I see cheap aids that boost only sound, doesn't really address your actual hearing loss or amplify the areas needed to enjoy lifes sounds, these addresse those challenges. The only downfall to these are reordering parts. (domes, tubes etc...). I.E. If you know you use a certain size dome or tube, you still have to order the entire kit with all sizes. I would like to order only the sizes that I need.

The first week I could hear OK. After the first week I had to continually change things around to try to get it to work. I’d like to return it and get my money back but unfortunately the company will not honor their 45 day agreement because I bought it from Amazon. I would not recommend buying hearing aids from Amazon they have a 30 day return. At this point it has been 41 days and I am out of $900 because I purchased Harry needs on Amazon. The namebrand Lexi came highly recommended by friends however I’m not able to hear out of them and they’re too difficult for me to work. ... show more

The lexie lumen hearing aids are very easy to use with the lumen apps and very good value for money compared to other hearing aids in the market. We got these for my husband who is almost deaf. He needed something good to use when his insurance ones were charging. The set arrives needing to have batteries installed. They also requare a mandatory app to use. It can be found easy on the app store or by using the QR code. They come with thorough directions that are easy to understand. They seem to be very well made. The doors and buttons function properly. To test them out my husband put in the batteries and connected them to the app. He adjusted the tubes and earpieces for a perfect fit. He ran through the hearing test that tested his hearing and then programmed the aids to his specific needs. That was impressive. The sound quality was great. It is a shame they do not stream anything. No music, no phone calls. The set is fantastic already, but could have been a rock star. ... show more
