This charger is a good value. I wanted a charger with the NACS adapter and this fit the bill. I can set the amperage, which is great because my NEMA 14-50 outlet over heated on my previous charger. So, rather than run it at 32 amps, I'm running this one at 24 amps. Even though these outlets are rated for 50 amps, they don't seem to like it very much. It comes with really everything you want. The charger, a wall mount for the charger, and a wall mount for the cable that the adapter latches into. It also includes a travel case. Really easy function, just like the Tesla superchargers. The adapter has a button to open the charging port on the car. Connects to the car charging port perfectly.

Doesn't take up much space. Doesn't get hot while charging. The status information provided on the charger itself is illuminated so it's easy to read in dark spaces. The provided cable holder holds the charging cable securely. I get about a 30 AMP charge rate, which is fine, as I use it overnight, and it's always done by morning. The fact that the charger negotiates with the car's battery charging circuitry, taking about 30 to 40 seconds to go from 1 to 30 AMP is an indication that it's designed not to overload the battery. I'm glad that I bought a plug-in charger rather than a hardwired model, as most of these chargers eventually fail and it costs a lot less to simply purchase a new charger rather having to pay an electrician to rewire. The price of this charger is a lot more reasonable then certain other models that can cost three times as much or more. I would doubt that those more expensive chargers would last three times as long. I have a 2026 Subaru Solterra, but this charger will work with any car that has a NACS port.

Compact 25’ Level 2 PLUS Level 1 Charger with Auto Voltage Support

UPDATE : Tested Automatic Level 1 (120v / 12A )compatibility with adapter (NEMA 14-50F to NEMA 5-15M) . Adds tremendous utility when staying at Airbnbs that may not have a 240v service. I bought this for a last minute trip into The Cascades where superchargers were unavailable. Some might find the 8kw limit a limitation but it actually makes the charger more portable and much more affordable . The unit with the 25’ extension is only about 7 lbs and fits in the frunk with plenty of room for junk. It immediately charged my 2025 Tesla Model Y at about 7.6 kw or 30 mi / hr with no setup needed. The info screen is great for nerds, showing active temp, amps , volts and kWh. The charger seemed very efficient at about 100° outside even in direct sunlight on a summer day , only barely warm to the touch. Voltage and amperage were stable the whole time. Unbelievable for the price , most l2 chargers are closer to $400. Great peace of mind I’ll keep this with me on all my future trips

High temperature in cable

Gives 31 amps. Temperature indicates 100 deg F a rise of 40 degrees from ambient of 60 deg. Is ambient goes to 90 deg the temperature will be 130 deg may drop charging rate to 16 amps. Seguma must work on controlling temp rise.
