I got the ELECQ Level 2 charger for my EV about a month ago and honestly it has been awesome. I have been looking for a home charger for a while that was easy to install, worked well, high quality and did not cost a fortune. After a lot of research, this one seemed to check all the boxes and it really has lived up to it. Setup was really straightforward. I already had a 240V outlet installed, so it was just a matter of mounting it to the wall and plugging it in. The charger comes with everything you need to mount it properly. It took me around half an hour from start to finish, and that was mostly because I took my time making sure the cable was nice and neat along the wall. The charger itself feels really well built. It is solid and heavy duty, but still looks clean and modern. I have it installed outside and it has already gone through a few heavy rainstorms and some cold nights. No issues at all. The weatherproofing seems legit and the cord stays flexible even when the temperature drops. As for charging, it is exactly what I wanted. I am getting about 38 miles of range per hour. It makes a huge difference compared to when I was relying on the slow Level 1 charger that came with the car. Now I can plug in at night and be fully charged by the time I wake up even if the battery was pretty low. The app is a nice bonus too. It connected quickly to my Wi-Fi and setting up schedules was super easy. I really like being able to set the charging to start late at night when the electricity rates are cheaper. Saves money without me having to remember to plug in at a certain time. You can also adjust the amps if you need to which is great depending on your home setup. One thing I was a little worried about was compatibility since I have a Tesla, but with the adapter it works perfectly. No issues with connections or errors. And it is great knowing that if I switch cars later, this charger will still be able to handle any standard EVs because of the J1772 connector. Another thing I appreciate is that it comes with some good protections built in. Surge protection, temperature control, and it is certified with UL and Energy Star standards. You can tell they did not cut corners with safety which is a big deal for something that handles that much power. Also, the unit is compatible with Alexa and Siri, which is an added bonus. If you are looking for a home charger that is easy to install, built tough, smart with its features, and just works like it is supposed to, I would definitely recommend this one. For the price and everything you get with it, it feels like a really solid investment. I absolutely love it!

I received this unit in early April when it was released. It came packaged well using all corrugated (Sustainable packaging) and it well presented. Of course, no damage when i opened it. Installation was pretty straight forward (I already had a 240V outlet that can support up to 40amps). I simply mounted it on the wall, and plugged it into the 240v outlet, then everything powered up. The app is required for monitoring the usage and configuring the system. Outside of that, i barely touched the app afterwards. It comes with an RFID card for security when mounted outside (prevent unwanted charging sessions). I have it mounted in the garage and configured as a plug and charge. The design of the unit itself is unique, although on the bulky side, its nice that its has a handle holder. Not much of a display outside, other than the led bar indicating the status. I would have liked it it it had a display to show charge rate / status and such, but thats just a nice to have. Charging wise, it functions well. As soon as it connects to the car, it charges right away and ramps up to the fasted charging speed/amps. The app features are ok is inline with other well known products. There lies the question, is it worth the price? comparing this with other high end level 2 chargers who have shown and performed well historically, its hard to see on the surface how this stands out. At this price, there are 50 amp systems available. I like this charger and i feel that it works well for our needs. I still cant justify the asking price of $700+ when i got this unit. with so many in the market, its a hard sell at this price. The price will need to go much lower to stay competitive.

I got this charger to speed up my EV charging at home, and it’s been awesome so far. The 50A power is a huge upgrade from the regular plug, and it charges my car way faster. If you're tired of waiting forever to charge, this is the solution. It’s a major time-saver compared to the slow 110V options. The app is super convenient, you can schedule charging, track the progress, and even stop charging from my phone. Very cool!The 25-foot cable is long enough to reach my car no matter where I park in the garage. No need to worry about tight spaces or being too far. It needs to be hardwired, so you’ll have to get an electrician to install it, which adds to the cost. But if you are able to do so yourself then that is great for you! If you drive a Tesla, you’ll need an adapter for the charging port, but that’s easy to find. Overall, super happy with this charger. It works great and gets the job done way faster than my old setup. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a solid upgrade. It is absolutely worth it if you are serious about charging your EV.

This is a highly functional, great quality EV charger. It is a level 2 up to 50 amps. It is important to make sure that your panel has the electrical capacity in your panel to support it. Unless you have experience installing something like this, you will likely need to hire an electrician to install. It comes with a 25 ft cord which is plenty of length. The only thing you will need an adapter for is a Telsa. An app will have to be downloaded to have full functionality of the charger. It is easy to navigate and use. I have had no issues with it. The charger is compatible with both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth which is nice. I've had no issues with connection or charging. The unit will connect to Alexa and Siri which is an added bonus. The charger is well made overall and has all the standard features of an ev charger including surge protection. All in all, I couldn't be happier with the unit.
