Worked Until It Didn't

Came to me used, but was not indicated anywhere that the unit was used. After 3 months, it became faulty, as the ground pin overheated during charging and damaged receptacle. Electrician verified that all work was good and that this device was the source of the issue.

Nice 40A charge speed

This was an upgrade from the 16 amp charger we had before. it requires a 240v outlet so we kept the smaller 16amp 110 to use as a mobile charger that stays in the car but this 40A charger gets us to a full charge in just a couple of hours compared to overnight for the 16a charger.

Great buy for the money

Dependable charger and the construction is very durable but you have to pay attention to the housing. Heat protection and very easy to install. Easy to set up and has a carry bag that makes it easy to put away until the next charge. Great for the price.
