Full disclosure, I don't own an EV or a hybrid but my friends and relatives do. I felt, as a positive nod toward their choices, that it would be good to have a charger at my house that they could avail themselves of if they were in need for a loaner that they forgot. This seems to cover the bases for a basic unit that, with a 25' cord, could meet them in the driveway. While I do have a 120VAC 20A plug in my garage for a specific use most everything else is 120VAC 15A and that's where it would also be most convenient. Longer charge time means a little longer visit. It's a nice looking package and while it will likely live in the bag and not be fully set up, the opportunity is there if my driveway is suddenly crowded with EVs. It works and lights up and I'm glad to be a small part of the EV world in 2025.

A very basic level 1/2 Tesla charger, supporting 110V and 240V, 16A. And sometimes, basic is a great thing! You plug it in and it just works. You can set the maximum current by pressing the A button which toggles between all the available options, and also set a charging delay by pressing the clock button. Can't do any simpler than that. There is a very simple, bright informative display, and the charge handle's button is functional and triggers the Tesla charge door opening. Comes in a zippered case with an attached protective rubber cap to the handset, a 110V plug adapter, and should you want to use it semi-permanently at home, a wall mount as well as a handset holder. Well designed, simple, inexpensive, and easy to pack up and take on the road. I wish it included a NEMA 10-30P adapter like this one which I use to connect to my dryer plug: why spend money on an expensive 40A level 2 charger installation when I can charge overnight using this inexpensive charger and my existing dryer outlet. Good charger.

This specific model is for Tesla vehicles since it comes with a Tesla charing plug and not a J1772 EV plug. This unit is compact and doesn't take up much space. It comes with a carry cash to bring with you as you travel. It supports 120V and 240V. This is by no means a fast charger but it provides a decent overnight charging speed at 16A. It comes with a charger unit mount and a plug holder for permanent home mounting. The charger easily comes off the base when you need to bring it with you. Simple and easy to use, no complicated setup needed. Its just plug n play.

This is one excellent portable EV car charger in my opinion! It is well made, durable, and high quality throughout with regard to its design and construction, and it was simple to set up. The functionality has been great with efficient and effective charging capability. I like that it came with several useful accessories as well as a handy carrying/storage bag, and I also like the display that is easy to read. I think this product is a good value at this price point, so I would not hesitate to recommend it with five stars for sure!

Great solid Charger, works slightly better than the Tesla factory portable charger, connects with my model X & Y without any glitches or stoppage of power during charging sessions. Also just like the factory charger the charger head/wand opens the charging port which is an nice added convenance.
