This EV charger is a very solid buy, especially for the price. It feels well made (not always the case in this price range), and the 20-foot cord is really helpful here. It's long enough that you’re not twisting yourself in knots trying to reach an outlet lol. So far, charging speed has been great for a portable unit. With the NEMA 6-20 (240V/16A) setup it’s noticeably quicker than a basic Level 1 charger, which makes it way more realistic for regular use. I also like the safety features on paper and in practice. It runs reliably, and the control box feels sturdy enough to inspire confidence. The portable design is legit too. It's easy to stash in the trunk for trips, and it doesn’t fight you with tangles every time you pack it up. Bottom line: if you want a budget-friendly charger that still feels like a smart purchase (not a gamble), this one punches above its weight. We ordered this to keep at my parents for when they have a few of our friends and family come into town with electric vehicles. My best friend got a chance to use it and we were happy overall with it. It was easy to use and straightforward like every other charger she has used with her car. The cord is long enough that we don’t have to be RIGHT up next to the plug to use it. It charges and works like we expected to. It didn’t overheat and despite the harsh winter we have had, it’s durable enough to withstand the extreme temperature changes and cold/wet season we have been in. This is a good price point for a reliable charger that’s worked every time we needed it.

This portable EV charger has been very easy to use and convenient to keep in the car. I like that it supports both 110V and 240V, which makes it flexible for home charging or travel.
