I have a Volvo Recharge Hybrid and was looking for a spare EV charger cable. The MACARLON charging cable offers much more than the OEM cable I revceived from Volvo. It comes with an intuitive LCD screen to give you the status of the charge, adjustable amperage (8A,10A, 13A, 16A ), a 5-15P adapter to be able to plug in the cable to a regular home outlet, and a timer so you can set the charging to start at off-peak electric hours to save on electricity costs. The 25 foot length is pretty much standard for all these EV cables. Both the LCD box and the cable appear very solid. As far as charging goes, this cable charges as fast as my OEM one. Finally, as far as waterproof is concerned, I charged my car last night in a constant rain...it was outside for 4 hours...no issues whatsoever. Recommended

This 9.3-inch screen was a nice way to add CarPlay & Android Auto to my older car without a full stereo swap. Setup was quick, and the screen is bright with good touch response. Offline GPS is super handy, especially in bad signal areas. Only downside? The UI could be a bit smoother, and mounting options are kinda limited. But overall, it gets the job done!

Just bought an EV? Want to charge at home and save $$ and not rely on fast chargers? Yeah this is the one you want. It's simple plug-and-play, with a very nice screen that shows you the status of the charge (how many amps, etc). Works with both of my Chevy Bolt EVs perfectly! Compatible with both 220v and 110v, with an included adapter too. Constructed really well and I can tell it will last a long time.

For the asking price, it really is hard to go wrong here. This is a fantastic charger to toss in the trunk and take with you, as it's capable of working on both 240v as well as 120v. That means you can use it anywhere you can find an outlet. It's super simple to operate, with just 1 button and no fancy apps to figure out. The screen is nice and gives you all the information you need, and it comes with a carry case for everything. It's not the fastest at only 16A, but it is flexible and that means a lot, because not everyone has a 240v outlet to plug into. For the money, it's a great deal for an on-the-go charger.
