So i got the chair and the first thing you notice is there are a lot of parts (more than you usually find in a build it yourself chair). So I unbox everything and notice there are no instructions. So i spend tons of time searching until I find a video by some other person who bought it from Amazon. The chair is fine, sturdy and comfortable but if you are going to make it a complex build put instructions in the box. Updated: So I have had the chair about a month now. Well it has become unbearably squeaky. In addition to that the arms keep coming lose so I have to keep tightening them. The back support no longer stays in position. This chair looked and felt great for the first couple of weeks and then you realize why it is so cheap to begin with. If you put weight on the arms as you stand up they click all the way down. Overall this is a terrible chair and I would not recommend to anyone that is over 6ft tall and who weights more than 200lbs. I am 6ft 4 and 240 and I doubt that this chair will make to three months. New Update: So I was right less than 6 weeks in and the chair fell apart. Contact Amazon and got the "contact the manufacturer" reply, so now I have to go through that nightmare. The arms no longer stay up, the chair itself is tilted forward and will not level or go back at all. Stay away from this chair, its very cheaply made and if you dont weigh 100 pounds or less this chair will simply fall apart. ... show more

OUCH! Buyer beware! I have had this about 2 months and it started out near perfect, but now the height won’t adjust up all the way, the arms need to be tightened every day and it has a terrible forward tilt. I have taken it apart and put back together to see if that would help and it does not. I haven’t made many adjustments, mainly up and down. I’m 5’4” and needed a foot rest when this was at the highest height (as is expected) but now, my knees are above my thighs at the highest height so clearly the adjustment is no longer working. Since this has happened over time, I didn’t notice until the neck and shoulder pain became unbearable. The head and back pillows are nice and it rolls well but that’s the only positive. This is an “Amazon Recommended” product and they should be ashamed. ... show more

200 bucks is not worth it. If I was able to change my purchase towards a Secretlab chair I would. Assembly was ok. Took about 30 minutes and not hard at all. My only concern was the amount of hard plastic there is. I did recieve a broken arm part and chipped funnel that goes around the main pole. Leopard outdoor sent me a replacement arm piece but the screw holes were a different size that didnt go with the chair. They didn't bother with the other piece. 1 week later I have yet to hear from them regarding this issue. Sticking to this chair is annoying because of the fabric and the arms move way too easy from pressure. Save your money because if something arrives damaged dont expect to be helped. ... show more

Update 10/15/20 - Started as an ok chair but now has a horrible tilt in the seat with no way to adjust, tighten, or fix. Very loud and no longer comfortable to sit in. Going to try to reach out to the manufacturer but having trouble find contact info. Nice chair, easy to assemble. Only one screw stripped and one hole not aligned properly. The only complaint is the seat, not really level, and seems to have a slight tilt forward that makes you feel like you're leaning forward. ... show more

As others have noted, it required a bit more assembly than other chairs I've purchased, but it was also reasonably priced, well packaged, and went together pretty easily. The one step that wasn't super clear in the instructions should be obvious when looking at the parts, but in case they came off, the arm vertical supports have a plastic guide that slides onto the bottom of the support - there is a cutout in the side of the guide for the bump of the bar that attaches the vertical support to the chair. That cutout should be facing down, and the bump of the bar should be facing away from the seat when assembled. Bought this for my 11 year old daughter to replace an ancient chair that was falling apart and the lift no longer worked, so she has something comfortable for remote school class sessions. She seems pretty happy with it. {Edit: updated after six months - again, with an 11 year old, not an adult, using the chair - the seat is visibly wearing at seams; detracting two stars from my original 5-star rating because it didn't even make it 6 months of light use before the PU seat started to fall apart. Adding photo to show both the left side (significant wear/breakdown) and right side (crack in the seat material diagonally from the seam) at the front of the seat is failing.} ... show more

I purchased this chair due to my need for a good but not crazy expensive office chair in order to be able to work from home, due to the coronavirus lock down. The chair arrived very well packed. So far it looks to be very well made, the stitching and plastic components seem good quality. All metal parts are well made also. All assembly components fit easily and smooth. I don't give it 5 stars because of only it seems to be kinda stiff. The up down mechanism for the chair and the backrest mechanisms are hard and not easily movable, and the casters seem to be kinda hard too and don't move or slide that easily. Maybe its a break-in kinda thing and they will loosen up in a couple of weeks. But overall its a great chair and a GREAT VALUE Chair looks great, have good ergonomic with awesome positional armrests, very comfortable and it looks to be well made. Maybe later I will re-review the chair to give a longevity comment on it. Great Purchase ... show more
