Easy to assemble, It came in a well care box. Just follow the steps of the paper instructions, specially when you have to fix the screws on both sides. The problem with most of this desk chairs are the plastic wheels, I would recommend you buy a set which avoid noises when moving and floor damage. It's a comfortable chair, a big one, so take a look to the wide and height. The white color could be a challenge with kids but it's easy to clean. The up/down and tilt command works great. Decent chair, easy to assemble. Its color is more accurately depicted in the second photo here - the room lighting gave it a yellow-ish caste in the first photo that could be misleading. It's a nice smoke gray - more blue-hued than yellow. I lost my beautiful white leather desk chair in Hurricane Ian and needed a replacement that didn't cost as much bc I had a few other things to worry about - like replacing all the REST of my furniture and belongings... Anyway, decent chair - comfortable enough for my retired life where I sit at a desk FAR LESS than I used to. I'm not sure how long it will last but it's ok for now. ... show more

I gave an overall 3 because it is not big and tall, we have one of those and these two we bought here will not hold hold 400 lbs, it is not as wide as I thought, and it sits nicely but not as secure as I thought. I thought since it said 400 lb and big and tall chair it would be but I am 5ft 5 and I weigh about 175 and I fill the chair up. It is not tall on the back and that was not what I thought either seems it should be taller behind the head. I bought two of these thinking they would be much larger and more sturdy. I hope they last I am holding my breath on these. I would rank these like the ones you buy at Walmart at 89 is about what I think. Will let you know in a few more months. The price was a little high I think. But it is what it is. It also seems to lean a tad to one side and that is disturbing. I couldn't afford to buy two more expensive chairs at once and I trusted that the description would be all 100% correct but it is not. So next time spend a little more save more money and get a higher-quality chair. I think I was really fair in the review. I wish I could have said it was all the best but the description did not match up to the chair. But they are pretty. ... show more

I love the chair. We make it work. But the white in the picture is not the kind of white it looks life in real life so it doesn't really match our office so just beware if that would be an issue for you.

[Edit/update at end of review] Let me start by saying, I knew what I was paying for, so none of this was unexpected. I just needed an emergency replacement chair fast. Decently easy to assemble. However, the screws do not have any sort of locking spray on them, so all screws will wiggle out, and need constant monitoring for tightness. Keep the assembly tool near the chair. All parts are plastic, except for the part that attaches to bottom of seat, and sits on the gas lift. That is made of very thin aluminum. It will eventually bend and pull out of screws, especially if the screws are not constantly monitored for tightness. The arms wiggle, or if "wiggle" is not the right word, they have "give". The give or wiggle will lead to screws coming loose, and the friction will eventually wear through the arms. The seat is the smallest size possible to still be called an office chair. It does qualify as a small to medium adult size. But if you have any junk in your trunk at all, it will squeeze you. And I am not talking about "huge" people. If your thighs are wide at all, it will squeeze you. The most concerning thing however, is when I went to rock back the first time, I could hear cracking under the chair (where the aluminum screws in under the seat). I will not be rocking back again, as it sounds like it is going to rip out of whatever is cracking. Sounded like wood, so more than likely the screws under the seat go into particle-board, which is what I heard cracking. As I sit here, I feel like I have to balance the seat on top of the gas lift. The slightest movement and I can feel it tilting. Again, I am not shocked, as I get what I paid for, and was expecting less. I just wasnt ready for how small the seat is. And was "hoping" i could recline. These are just the facts as I have observed them and hope they come in useful to you! [EDIT: After only a few days the company reached out to me directly, and we were able to work together to make my after-purchase experience much better. It did not fix any of the issues with the chair, but they certainly went above and beyond to make sure that I had a good interaction with them, and they surely did not need to do so. I have adjusted my stars from 3 to 4, due to the overwhelmingly positive experience!] ... show more

I was a little hesitant to purchase this based on the reviews about size and sturdiness but am glad I did. I am 5-6 and don’t have the smallest thighs. I’ve included pictures to show there is easily an inch on each side of my thighs leaving plenty of room and that there is still a few inches above my shoulder at the back. It’s definitely not a big and tall chair. But the average sized adult should be comfortable. Pros: easy to assemble, looks great, very comfortable! Cons: slightly off white and doesn’t match the bright white of my office perfectly. ... show more

Update: The seller refunded me without having to return the chair. Very thankful. The chair in NOT a big and tall chair as they claim. The seat is narrow and digs into your thighs. My thighs aren't that big. It also drops down and you have to reset the height almost every time. I've had it a month. Now I can't take it apart to send back. I called the number the seller provided and shocker, it is a number for Frontier Communications. I also have to pay for shipping for the return of a defective product. Not cool. Will keep you updated on how this goes. At the moment I have chair parts all over the room that won't fit in the box until complete disassembly is complete. Ugh. ... show more
