I have a lot of issues with sciatica, and finding a desk chair that provides proper support has been a challenge, especially for long periods of time. I shall search no more. The seat is a perfect length and width that I am able to sit all the way back in the seat, and my back is able to comfortably rest against the back of the chair. I’m no longer sitting in a hunched forward position which was a definite strain on my back. Since I’m able to comfortably sit in the chair, my body overall is much more relaxed, so at the end of the day im not dealing with full body tension. This chair gets high praise from me, which I don’t dish out regularly. The craftsmanship of the chair is solid, it was easy to follow the picture directions to assemble it, and I had no issues in assembling it. It’s sturdy, it adjusts easily, and when you set the height you want, it holds, not like some other desk chairs I’ve invested in. The office chair I have used for 15 years finally fell apart and I needed a new one quick. I chose this chair because it was inexpensive (in case I wanted something more expensive when I had more time to shop) and it has good reviews. PROS: It is inexpensive and after a little break-in comfortable. It was easy to assemble and seems to be very good quality, particularly at this price point. CONS: At the lowest setting the seat is still too high for me to use the inline skate wheels I want to use on my glass floor mat. If I install them, my feet don't reach the floor. The bolster at the front of the seat (under my knees) was very stiff and uncomfortable at first but with use the chair is getting more comfortable. Overall, I am happy with this purchase and doubt I will be looking for a replacement any time soon. UPDATE (11/12/25): I have used this chair daily for 5-months and want to post an update. PROS: Seat has become more comfortable with use. The bolster under my knees has softened up. CONS: The padding for the arms has all but collapsed. It doesn't make the arms uncomfortable, it's just annoying that there are now indentations (all the way down to the frame of the arms) where my elbows and forearms rest. Other than that, the chair (seat and back) is holding up to daily use, and I can still recommend the chair as an inexpensive option. ... show more

+ delivered fast enough, undamaged, physical specifications are correct ++ price/value is outstanding + sturdy + rocking mechanism is amazing and smooth + assembling was as smooth and straightforward as it gets not cons, but things to consider - i'm 5'07" and the back is not high enough if you want to fully place your head on it, if one has more height, it will be even more problematic; so the back of this chair is not very high! - there are softer/more cushy chairs out there, and I know what I'm talking about, I had Jysk Tjele (Jysk doesn't operate in US) chair and it was the softest and most amazing chair I've had in my 30 years of gaming career. But this one has, let's say, average softness like 3.5/5, it's comfortable, but could be more cushy, but for this price it's really the best you can get that's for sure, just be prepared ... show more

I PURCHASED THIS CHAIR IN DECEMBER. I AM A MECHANIC AND I WAS ABLE TO ASSEMBLE THE CHAIR PROPERLY, AND IT WORKED FINE FOR FOUR MONTHS, ONE MONTH AFTER THE WARRANTY EXPIRED. IT IS RATED FOR 250 POUNDS, AND I AM 250 POUNDS EXACTLY. THE FIRST FOUR MONTHS, THE CHAIR WORKED AS IT SHOULD. NOW, AFTER FOUR MONTHS, THE CHAIR DOES NOT GO BACK AND FORTH BUT IT ROCKS SIDE TO SIDE, SCARING ME THAT I WILL FALL OVER IN IT. I AM 74 YEARS OLD AND DISABLED AND I HOPE THE CHAIR WON'T KILL ME. I CAN'T AFFORD TO REPLACE IT. MAYBE I CAN SUE FOR BROKEN BONES WHEN IT MAKES ME FALL. I WOULD THINK THAT EVEN A CHEAP CHAIR WOULD LAST A FEW YEARS. I LOOKED AT THE MECHANISM AND THE CYLINDER GOES ANYWHERE IT WANTS TO, SIDE TO SIDE AND IN CIRCLES, NOT BACK AND FORTH AS IT SHOULD. AMAZINGLY IT JUST STARTED GOING BACK AND FORTH BESIDES ALL AROUND. Ive had this chair now for a few weeks and so far, Im very happy with it. For its price, it looks very high quality. It came packaged very secure, and had no defects or damage. I needed a new office chair for my home because I spend a lot of time editing videos and doing animation, so Im sitting on my butt for a long time. This chair, so far, has given me that proper cushion in that area and Im not getting any nerve ache in the back of my legs like I was with the previous chair. Also, it was EXTREMELY easy to assemble. It probably took me only between 30-45 minutes. I read some reviews before I bought this just to make sure, and I saw some people were complaining that the arm rests kept popping out. My guess is that they were not following one of the Golden Rules of Assembly which is: Never tighten down all the screws or bolts in an area until all of them are securely in place! My guess is that these 'geniuses' tightened each bolt as they went, which threw the whole armrest out of alignment by the time they got to the last one. I've had this chair for just under 2 years. It was great for about 6 months. Easy to assemble and very comfortable at first. The back is tall like I wanted, it reclines just the way I like, and the lumbar support and cushion were great at first. Unfortunately it's not as durable as I had hoped. Around the 6 month mark, it started making creaking noises occasionally when I sat down or got up. After a year, those noises happen any time I sit down, get up, or shift positions in the chair. The creaks are also much louder now (coworkers can hear them on video calls even with noise reduction turned on!). The back cushion is still good but the seat has definitely flattened a ton - there's a square part right in the center that used to have a nice amount of cushion around it, but now everything around it has sunk down and there's just a weird firm square piece right in the middle. The seams on the seat are also starting to split (see pics). I WFH and use this chair 40+ hours a week, so it definitely gets a lot of use but honestly I had hoped it might last a little longer. It's still usable for now but not very comfortable anymore. I'm currently shopping for a new chair, and this time I think I'll pay a little more for quality. ... show more
