Overall, this chair is a great value and fairly easy to assemble—except for one issue. One of the screw holes was slightly misaligned, and it took quite a bit of force to line up the pieces and get the screw in. I managed it, but I can imagine it being a struggle for someone with less strength, especially women or anyone assembling it alone. Once assembled, the chair performs well. The seat is firm but supportive, the mesh back is breathable, and the height and tilt adjustments work smoothly. It is super easy to assemble and felt very sturdy and stable, with no squeaky sound at all. ... and I am not hand at all yet even I could easily assemble it in less than 10 minutes (watching the video beforehand helped). I tossed my $300 chair for this one because the fancy chair gives too much reclining after a while (mechanic fatigue or lousy hold), which is bad for the lumbar). Before I get into the pros and cons, my size is small frame and lower weight at 5'3" and 120 lbs. Pros: 1. The assembly was not difficult and the instructions were clear and easy to understand. 2. It's a good swivel and the seat is comfortable, especially when needing a hard surface for sciatics and sacral spine issues Cons: 1. The biggest issue is the plastic along the lowed back for the "lumbar support". The plastic is behind mesh and it's very stiff, but if you're shorter like me, then it hits a certain location on the back and it can be extremely uncomfortable. It pokes in the center of the spine and it's unpleasant. 2. THE NOISE. BIG CON. The chair makes the worst creaks just sitting on it and moving in the slightest amount. The spring feels questionably insecure and it vibrates and feels like it's going to break at certain points. I am only 120 lbs so my weight is within the limits of use for this chair. The chair is really loud and it's annoying to myself and everyone around me. That really needs to be tested and fixed. It's cheap and you really get what you pay for. I should have gone for a slightly more expensive chair that would've been better than this, but this will do temporarily ... show more

I love this chair. I am short... 5'3" and this chair works well for me. I use a posture seat cushion on it and that allows my back to be in just the right place for the chair's lumbar support. A taller person would not need the extra seat cushion. The adjustable height is great for which ever desk I'm sitting at. I highly recommend this chair....
