These lights have been hanging over our patio year round in Chicago since **June 2019** and are still going strong. We have not had to replace a single bulb, and the globes haven’t fogged. They’ve survived hail, a derecho, severe thunderstorms, subzero temps, and 60mph winds. Original Review 2020 We purchased these lights over a year ago, and hung them over our patio using the Belio String Light Hanging Kit (highly recommend that kit!) available on Amazon. The lights are great and look just as good as the day we hung them 15 months ago. We left them up over the Chicago winter and during severe thunderstorms, and all the bulbs still work perfectly. Before purchasing, I read other reviews that said the bulbs burn out quickly. We’ve not had one bulbs burn out in 15 months of use, but we have had to tighten a few bulbs after winter, bad storms or especially windy days. I think the vibration from the wind and/or the freeze-thaw cycle can loosen bulbs over time. Also, when screwing in bulbs before hanging the lights, it’s important to make sure the bulbs are screwed in all the way, which can take a bit of effort. The bulbs are plastic, so I don’t worry about them shattering during storms. Although they’re plastic, they look like glass to me, and they don’t fog up or become hazy. We get compliments all the time from friends and neighbors. I would recommend purchasing the Belio String Light Hanging Kit from Amazon. Hanging the lights on the cable keeps the weight and stress off the power cord.

These lights are very lightweight and durable! I’ve had glass outdoor lights before that were so heavy and fragile - these are so much easier to work with! They look great on our patio and I love the remote. Even can with zip ties which were very helpful. These lights are not overpowering at 100% - the perfect light for nighttime relaxing!

Ordered the 100Ft one. Doesn’t have a remote but got one at Lowe's for $12. Perfect. We even had extra footage. Lights up the yard perfectly. Not to bright and not too dark. Just perfect. These are awesome for the buck. Highly recommend.

Love the lights. They aren't 38 feet though so if you need 40 ft or more look at a different length. They look great though, have 4 brightness modes and a simple remote. It also comes with a spare bulb and a big pack of zip ties. The 1st set I received, the remote lit up red when any button was pushed but didn't work at all. I contacted the seller and after a couple messages back and forth, within a week they not only sent me a new remote but another whole kit. Hard to find customer service that great now a days. Over all a great set of lights for outdoor patio covers, porches, etc.

The media could not be loaded. I own a wedding venue and I ordered these to see how durable they were and how nice they looked. I really do like them and plan to buy more over the next few months for my wedding barn. The only difference between these that I don’t like as much is the spacing between the bulbs. My glass ones have more bulbs spaced closer together. However, I think the trade off in durability and the ability to turn them off with a remote is worth it.

I love these. The bulbs are removable, and as you can see on the right side of the picture, you can unscrew the bulbs from parts of the strand that you don’t want to light up. I think it looks a lot better when the part that hangs down from the curtains to connect to the outlet is not lit. They are plastic, so they’ll feel sort of cheap when you hold them, but I like that they won’t shatter like glass- they’re just asking for my cat to pull them down. If/when he does do that, at least they won’t break. Also, they don’t get too hot. I used to have Edison bulbs hanging in the same location, and when I sat at my desk nearby, I could feel the intense heat radiating off of them. I love how Edison bulbs look, but they gate SO hot! These look great and only get warm in comparison- they won’t burn you like other bulbs, and won’t radiate so much heat that you’ll sweat! I was worried that because they’re LEDs, they would be an awful, fluorescent bright white or blue-white color. Luckily, they’re not, and have close to the same warm, orangeish glow that my Edison bulbs did. They are much more welcoming than the bright white ceiling light that came with my apartment. I haven’t used them outside so I can’t attest to that. I also don’t use the connecting feature, but I’ll say that it’s also great that you can connect more at the end if you want, like Christmas lights. Definitely a good buy!
