  • Best pot/pan/casserole dish and more in my kitchen!
Color: Licorice
I cook a lot and this is by far the most versatile and now, the most used pot/pan in my kitchen. It’s a skillet/frying pan that browns food well, a deep skillet, a sauce pot, a soup pot, a casserole dish, and a stove-to-oven pan. So versatile! The size is great for 4-6 servings, depending on what you’re cooking. I bought the licorice colour and it’s a matte black, but with enough sheen not to be boring. Definitely pretty enough to use as a serving dish. I’ve been using it so often, I keep it on the stove since it looks so nice. This is my first Le Creuset and I am very impressed. Heats well, easy to clean, and this size is easy to handle. Even fits in my Breville counter oven. I have a 5 quart inexpensive Chefmate Dutch oven and wanted the 5.5 quart Le Creuset Dutch Oven, but thought it silly since mine cooks fine. But having used this, I see such better quality, that it’s back on my wishlist now. That said, I’d still want this 3.5 quart size for its versatility and easy handling. I can see both getting a lot of use. ... show more

  • Lighter than other cast iron
Color: Artichaut
We buy cast iron because it lasts forever and heats fast and evenly. We buy enameled cast iron because it's easier to clean--and it's pretty. We buy Le Creuset because it's the best of the many cast iron brands. I like to buy USA made, but no USA maker has matched Le Creuset yet. It's significantly lighter weight than others, which is a relevant factor as we age. The handles are designed to be grasped, not merely supported. It's easy to clean, and pretty to look at. The interior is made for the passage of a wooden spoon or spurtle. This is a well thought out piece. ... show more

  • Superb
Color: Licorice
Exceptional quality, cooks evenly, and cleans well. Is heavy but performs so well. We've used it for years with no issues, no cracks or chips in enamel

  • very pretty pan
Color: Shallot
Shallot is a gorgeous lilac color and looks beautiful with my other collection of Le Creuset. One gripe but I'll still keep it at 5 stars (not the pan's fault), but was very disappointed at the state of the box when it arrived - it was smashed and taped up, I was dreading opening it up. It speaks volumes of the strength and sturdiness of these pans, and was a miracle it wasn't damaged, so I didn't bother returning it. I love this size, and that's it a shallow design - perfect for 2 people meal. ... show more

  • The best of the best, when it comes to cooking like a professional chef.
Color: Meringue
Listen yes Le Creuset pot are very expensive. You’ve heard you get what you pay right. I’m a believer of that quote. Having said that I own and love my old vintage cast iron pots my grandma and mom passed to me and love them but you have to treat them quite often so they won’t rust. You can’t just put into sink and wash in soap. That is a big no no. With these pots they already are treated and has a nonstick bonus as well. Can put these in sink and wash with soap. You’ve gotta try them. I’ll be honing took me several years to spend that kind of money but I finally did and wow they are amazing. Your food is amazing. Use mine with a lot but mostly beans they make amazing beans. Use for anything you want on top of stove or in oven. My favorite Brand and you’ve got to try. You have nothing to loose. This pot will last not only your lifetime but the ones your passing to. Will get better with age. Just get it. They have money back guarantee . Just try, you’ll be hooked too. ... show more
