I’m very happy with this item. If you take your time and follow directions closely, it’s a fairly easy build. Did it myself and the only difficulty was unrolling the wire caging. The frame is a one person job, but the wire netting is really two because of the weight of the roll. This won’t keep large predators out as much as it will keep the chickens in. If you have dogs, raccoons, foxes, etc., it’s best to reinforce with hardware cloth. Get extra cable ties too. Use stakes or rebar to secure to ground especially if using the white roofing cover so it doesn’t get picked up by storms or high winds.

This product really exceeded my expectations. It is very sturdy and the chickens love it. The tarp is really nice and keeps the run cool from Texas hot weather. Like other reviewers have said, ensure you buy some more zip ties, other than that, amazing product.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Cost and size. Size: It’s a great sized run for the price. I’ve had this run put together for a few days now and am incredibly happy with it (and so are my chickens). It took me two days to put it together on my own; very easy to put together (instructions are clear), it’s just time consuming tying up the netting. Is this the best quality run? No, but it’s a cost-effective, easily-constructed run that will keep your chickens happy. One complaint is that there wasn’t enough netting! I was very frugal with it because I didn’t want to run out. I did the door last, and was about 16” short of netting. It was very frustrating after spending all day tediously putting on the netting. I ended up using scrap pieces and will have to eventually buy new mesh to put on the door so it looks nice. My only other complaint is the door—it is not very sturdy. It should have some more support in the middle so it doesn’t bend and hang funny. Also, the screws keep falling out of it. I’ll have to reinforce it somehow (but realistically shouldn’t have to; it should come with everything I need to make the door safe and properly usable). Things to note: Be sure to buy at least 150 more zip ties! Buy higher quality stakes (you don’t want this thing blowing away in a storm). If you want this truly predator protected, you need to purchase hardware cloth. Chicken wire only keeps chickens in, it doesn’t keep predators out. Keep that in mind if you’re looking for a run that is cheap; hardware cloth adds up quickly.

Boy this thing is awful. Joints are loose, you need a drill where they could have just done some more bolt holes, and they send chicken wire that is half the width of the opening. The instructions even tell you to overlap it for full coverage. It looks terrible with zip ties all over the “overlap” to keep things sealed and not flapping all over the place. The arch needs either one more arch in the middle or several more span bars along the arch. It sags in the middle and I can tell you a heavy snow will fold this thing in on itself like a tin can. It is cheap, it will do the job, but I would not buy it if I knew the instructions for assembly. The image is a complete lie.

Definitely recommend getting some thicker chicken wire but all in all it works great the door isnt level and I have to use one of the tarp ties to make the door stay shut but my 2 ducks are just fine and having the time of their lives I do recommend maybe us8ng pool noodles or something around the door so the wire doesnt hurt you or your animals when you open and close the door

Pretty happy with the price I paid and works well for a duck pen. Definitely buy another 100 pack of zip ties. Can be assembled by 1 person but super easy with 2 people. The more zip ties you use the tighter you can get the netting. Super light and easy to move. I reinforced the bottom with 1x4 to make it harder for something to get under it and put a board at the top for a sign.
