I bought and assembled their largest metal coop by myself. Most of the assembly was very straightforward, but some parts were difficult without an assisting hand to hold something in place for you. The door was a little tricky. The instructions aren't the best, most time was wasted in trying to decipher the instructions at certain points. Not sure how long it took in total, maybe 6 hours, but I'm sure it would be much faster with two people. The chicken wire it comes with is pretty thin/cheap compared to typical chicken wire. I did not feel my chickens were safe in it from predators mostly due to the thin material of the chicken wire. But I think if you placed a second layer of metal mesh wire over it, especially bottom half, and secured the poles with anchors, it could work fine. But they wouldn't be safe from drafts without some solid wood walls added on too. It's pretty spacious, but I wouldn't put more than 8 chickens in it. I decided to build a nice chicken coop/run instead, which is much nicer and more secure, but I think this is a good option if you don't have many chickens and aren't concerned about predators.

I needed a solution where I can keep younger hens seperate from the older hens as the get old enough to integrate. I bought 2 coops so that I can have 2 gates. This was the perfect solution! The pole assembly went super fast however the 6' chicken wire was awkward to apply because of the weight/size with 1 person. Find a buddy for this part. 😀 You can not recreate this run for less than you can buy it for here on Amazon. Believe me... I tried. The structure is sturdy and well worth the investment.

I looked at several options and selected this one based on the reviews. It arrived quickly in three packages and everything was present including well-illustrated and easy to follow assembly instructions. I built it on a base of cinder blocks and bolted it to this for increased stability in the Kansas weather (windy!) It took me about 3 hours to assemble on my own and everything fitted together perfectly. I am delighted with the quality, ease of assembly and overall appearance. The curved roof give more overall height than the angled roof which is why I chose this one. Great value and highly recommended. I may even buy another one!

The frame was a piece of cake to assemble. Once all the parts were laid out, it probably took about 30-40 minutes to set up. The frame is somewhat wobbly, likely due to the push button pole connections. You could probably replace the push button pole connectors with nuts and bolts if you wanted it to be a little more solid. Installing the coated metal wire netting is a much longer process, especially if you want it to be done well. The netting width is made perfectly to span the distance of all the poles, making it very simple to lay out, trim, and attach. It comes with a decent amount of zip ties, but I would recommend only using those temporarily to hold it in place as they are not the UV rated type. The kit comes with a bundle of wire twine that you need to use to secure the netting if you want it to hold for the long haul. Be aware that the netting and the enclosure are not meant to be predator proof, but more of a containment option for your chickens. You could make modifications and make it mostly predator proof, but it would require different wire netting. From the reviews of all the other chicken runs on Amazon, this one appears to have done a great job at addressing some of the main concerns that people had with other products. Glad I bought this one and not some of the others on here.

The media could not be loaded. The frame is good but the netting is flimsy. If you are going to get chickens invest in some hardware cloth. Overall I am very pleased.

I loved that this was easy to build. The frame required no tools, everything just snapped together. With two of us we have it done in 30 min. The most tedious part was the installation of the chicken wire, which took us a couple more days - mainly because we were working in 90+ degree heat. Chicken wire isn't much good for keeping squirrels out so we reinforced with hardware cloth as one other person had mentioned. Over-all it was fun to build and would buy again and best of all, the ladies are no longer out destroying my landscaping and can start earning their living!
