We finally put this coop together today. It's a nice size for the price. Ours will be inside a kennel and hardware cloth for extra protection. If won't really be affected by rain either since the run has a tarp over it. I do wish the coop was a little more raised so the girls could go under, but we can probably change that eventually. The directions were not the best but it was still pretty simple to put together. We figured it out.

It was fairly easy to put together and the parts lined up pretty well. It looks nice from the outside and seems pretty good inside as well. We added removable pads in the nest boxes. I only wish that they included an attachment for hanging a light in the middle of the large roof. It gets very cold where we live and, while chickens are tough animals, they like to be comfortable too. I added a block to put a hook in in the center roof by glueing it so there would be no holes in the roof. The features are nice. Removable tray for cleaning, 3 easy lifting roofs over the entire unit and its stands off the ground to keep the cold away and allow air flow in the summer. The front door/ramp is a little flimsy but it does work.

Cheap but not as cheap as a cardboard box which is how it's made. It is the worst thing I've ever purchased in my 65 years. All supports are broken after 6 months and several repairs. Not it's unrepairable because she i had to add screws had broken the Graham crackers of a suppotr for the drawer slide as well as the bottom of the tray. The silly brads on the bottom of the tray pulled out the first month. They were repaired by drilling tiny pilot hole and using equally tiny screw to put it back together. I'm just waiting on the entire bottom to collapse on my girls. Shame on you for selling this junk.... shame, shame....SHAM...(not a typo)

This arrive with all pieces intact. Two adults put together with electric drill in under an hour. The size is great. I have five bantam chickens and three Easter eggers. The nesting box is big enough for all chickens. I do have another nesting box in the walk-in coop. Overall it's a great nesting box.... Because my chickens have the free range in the walk-in area. I would not use this for just a chicken coop.

It was shipped quickly and all the parts were there. It is made cheaply, the screws are chinchy and some of the wood had splits. Get some 1 5/8" and a few 1" dry wall screws to add to the main structure to stiffen it up, I also put gussets on the top corners to help. I also added a 2" strip in front of the nest box to help hold the bedding in. The legs are crap, so I add an extra piece of wood to thicken them up. I had to put a door on the back so I could mount it to our pen, now I can remove the pan with no problem. I also put a latch on the roof to keep the racoons out. I guess you get what you pay for, good for a starter, we'll see how long it will last.

The pictures make this coop look sturdy and beautiful but it is anything but. While putting it together, noticed the piece in pictures is split and the bottom of the left side piece fell off while sliding the pan in. I had to very carefully add more screws to secure it together. Plus the smell of the paint is very strong and smells toxic. Will let it sit out for awhile before using it. Definitely NOT worth the money. Assembly was easy to understand.
