Use temperature adjustable iron (range: 80~180C/176~356F) to wax the snowboard, the thick soleplate with groove makes it stable temperature and makes the wax distribution very well. We also provide 130g all temperature wax (-15~-5C/5F~23F) which is suitable for most snow conditions and can be used for about 10 ski or snowboard waxing sessions.
- BASE GUARDIAN Holds ski brake with brake retainers during tuning/waxing. Use wax scraper and nylon brush to scrape off excess wax and brush out the base structure. The snowboard wax kit comes with black & white p-tex repair sticks are suitable for damaged bases of any color. Light the p-tex and let it drip onto the damaged base of the board. After a few moments, scrape level with the metal scraper in the snowboard repair kit, and your snowboard is repaired and perfect as ever!

This kit is comprehensive without also killing your wallet. Every tool for basic edge & base tuning is included, including some pretty nice base brushes and scrapers. Legitimately good quality for the price, even the edge bevel guide. I’ve seen some truly awful edge tuners, and yeah this one is cheap, but it still offers 4 different side edge angles AND 2 base edge angles. I didn’t actually need any of the included edge tools, and I still consider this kit to be an excellent value. The case is rigid, has adjustable compartments and has room for a few extra goodies. Very solid, would recommend this kit to anyone.

I’m new to this so I don’t really have any other product or experience to compare with but I thought it was all very usable. I tuned my edges and fixed a gouge and waxed and I felt like I have everything needed for those 3 tasks.

I bought this as a way to "save money" since snowboarding gear is very expensive. The first time I used this it took me around 2 hours to wax, tune, and smooth the board out completely. I honestly think that it isn't worth the hassle of trying to clean everything up and wax the board. You could probably get your board taken care of for about 20–30 dollars. Now if you really want to save money and have extra time on your hands. Get this because it is much better to be able to control the amount of wax you put on your board, tune it specifically to your standards and you feel more accomplished riding a snowboard that you waxed on your own. The wax that came with the waxing kit is okay but since I'm from the midwest and snow here is one day slushy and the other day frozen solid I'd recommend buying some higher end wax that lasts longer. Overall go get your board waxed in a shop if you don't have the time and patience, if you do, wax the board and you could save yourself a good amount of money.

I live down South. So, there is no place in town to get my skis waxed. This kit is perfect. The bar of wax it comes with will last for several waxings. I've used the edging tool and sanding sponge to clean up the edges on a used pair of skis I bought for my son. If you're a pro and waxing/tuning 10-20 sets of skis a season, go with a name brand kit. If you are just doing your own stuff once or twice a season, this kit rocks.
