I have bought 4 other coops for different reasons and this one is one of my favorite as far as how easy it is to put together and being able to move it as I move my chickens to a new area. Sometimes it is fun to be able to relocate the flock. Because it is light weight two people can easily relocate it. Or one person can take it apart and build it back in less than 30 minutes again. So easy! The other ones I have are super heavy and are good for the areas that are staying as is. I feel like this coop can accommodate a max of 6 large hens pretty comfortably. Although I pushed it a bit and put 7. I have 3 Marans, 1 Australorp, 1 Jersey giant, 2 Ameraucanas). I removed the current door and put a solar door on a timer. Get the kind that opens side ways so you can keep the little roof over the door for protection during rain. We put cinder blocks under to elevate it and the hens love to hang out under during the day. I think it helps for shelter from air predators. We have a fake crow flying over as a flag and electric fence around the coop. Some trees and bushes. This coop is pricey but it is cute and feels very durable. Easy to clean for sure. I like the option of vents that can be open and closed. Also there are plenty of access to the nesting boxes and from the very top. If the price was a bit less I would buy 2 more! We have been using this coop since the beginning of summer and it now fall time. It is great! It is easy to clean and easy to get into. We did make the roosting bars bigger to accommodate for bigger chicken feet. I have 5 pretty large chickens and they fit comfortably in this coop. The coop sat outside all winter and there was no fading or cracking of the material. The latches are secure and it looks nice. It was somewhat easy to put together.     • Chickens love it! Keeps them warm and dry. Easy to move and clean. Holds 6 adult chickens easily.

I wanted a coop that I could move to different areas with my chain link fence panels so the chickens could eat the weeds and bugs around my apple trees and 1 acre hobby farm. This coop fit the bill! This was a breeze to assemble with 2 adults! It's quite a bit smaller than I imagined when I purchased it. I had 9 chickens in it over the winter and they did fine. I have six in it now. During the winter, I put feed inside in one of the nest boxes but I have since purchased a feeder that keeps the feed dry outside. The adjustable side vents keep the rain and wind out or allow ventilation depending on the position they are in. I love the easy access to the nesting boxes for gathering eggs! I wish the bottom "skirt" was sturdier. I put some cement blocks in each corner to help support it and that seemed to help. It's fairly easy to clean compared to a wooden coop. Just remove the bedding and hose down! There are 4 plastic "legs" per se that do fill with water from inside when you try to rinse it out. I am considering drilling a small pencil size hole in them for drainage. Also, the carabiners that came with it are too thick around to fit in the metal holes of the locks and they are also cheap and break easily. That was easily fixed by a trip to the dollar store. Overall, I would buy this coop again but don't think I'll need to for quite awhile unless I double my flock. I felt it was a bit pricey for the size, but I'm so in love with its features that I would happily purchase it again! 2 year update: I'm still living this coop! I have removed the bottom, finding it much easier to just lift the coop and move it, leaving the bedding on the ground to act as mulch and fertilizer under my apple trees. I move it every month or so and remove the liners on the laying boxes for a good wash and scrub. It's holding up well and currently houses 10 chickens. ... show more

This is an expensive chicken coop, but well worth the money! We have had this coop for 3 years and waited until now to write this. I live in Michigan and winters get cold. The house keeps them nice and warm! Easy access to collect eggs and cleaning the house is a breeze. Our chickens are healthy and happy 3 years later. If you have the money…like they say you get what you pay for and when you get this coop you can be assured that it’s built with quality that you can pass down to family. Easy to put up and take down. Great! Very easy to put together. We put an electric door on and took the existingdoor off. It workef great. Keeps the chickens safe. I had a large raccoon try to get in but the coop is solid! We also put it on a stand. Easy to clean. I would recommend to anyone.
