I closed my pool the first week of November and read great reviews about this pillow so I decided to give it a try. NO REGRETS AT ALL!! This was my first time using a solid above ground pool cover so I knew a pillow would be necessary. Most of them looked so cheap but not this one! It is very thick and high quality. Comes with a decent white rope so you can center it if you’d like. Mine is definitely off-center but that is our fault for waiting so late in the day to get the pool ready to be covered. I used an air pump and only filled it to about 75% capacity like the instructions stated. I probably should have left a little more room honestly, because with the ice and below-freezing temperatures, it is definitely filled to capacity at the moment (it wasn’t yet when the photos were taken…I’ll take more recent ones!), but it is still holding up great and doing its job. I plan on uncovering and opening my pool sometime in early April (if it’s not frozen), so I will update this review and let y’all know how it held up all winter. I included photos to show how the pillow looked from the time we installed it up until last month. It makes pumping water off the cover so easy when we get heavy rains. If you are thinking about buying this pillow, BUY IT!!!!! My above ground pool is only 18’ x 52” so only one pillow was necessary. Just remember not to overfill it! These are on sale right now and I think I’m going to order another one as a backup. :) ****UPDATE!! MARCH 19, 2023**** Uncovered the pool and opened it today! This pillow lasted ALL winter and so did the rope it came with. It stayed centered despite some BRUTAL winds and super cold temperatures and ice. This thing is super high quality and worth the money, y’all!! It does not deflate like the cheap pillows and will definitely be using it again when I close later this fall! BUY IT!! You won’t regret it!

Very heavy duty and will last for many many years to come. They take a while to fill up, but do have a very big air valve. The size of the air valve will also help when deflating for pool use in the spring. If I ever have to buy again, I will more than likely buy another set of these.
