Frequently asked questions

Installation time can vary based on experience and site preparation, but generally, it takes two to three days to install the Meadows Reprieve 24' Round Above Ground Pool. Prior site preparation, such as leveling the ground and removing any debris, is crucial for a smooth setup process.

The Meadows Reprieve pool should be installed on a flat, level surface. Grass, sand, or gravel bases are suitable, but for the best results and longevity, many choose to place it on a compacted stone dust base or pour a concrete pad. Avoid uneven areas which can lead to structural damage over time.

Regular maintenance for the Meadows Reprieve pool includes monitoring pH and chlorine levels, vacuuming the pool floor, skimming debris off the water surface, and checking the filter system. Seasonal maintenance also involves winterizing the pool and inspecting components for wear and tear.

Yes, the 25 Gauge Overlap Liner that comes with the Meadows Reprieve pool is designed for durability. It's made from high-quality vinyl resistant to punctures, tears, and fading. Proper maintenance and avoiding sharp objects in or around the pool will help prolong the liner's life.

Should I Buy It?

If you’re looking for an affordable pool option and are prepared to navigate the complex installation process (preferably with professional help), this pool could be a great addition to your summer plans. It provides good value and durability for its price, but take the installation warnings seriously. If you’re not ready to tackle or pay for professional installation, it might be worth considering other options.

  • Good quality but not a DIY installation
Size: 21' Round Color: Meadows Reprieve
The pool is good quality for the price. I bought it to replace my old one that the wall rusted out. This one is rosin coated and seems to have better quality than the old one. I had a professional install it because it was too involved and I don't have that skill set. The delivery is no signature required but you should be home when it arrives. My boxes were damaged. I contacted the seller's customer service and sent pictures. They told me to refuse delivery. No hassles. They were really helpful and a replacement was shipped out the next Monday. ... show more

  • Installed June 1, 2023 Bitter Sweet Experience
Size: 24' Round Color: Aqua Brook
We installed it. 😩 Husband had the walls up two times until finally getting it the third try. One of the support poles were smack dead in the middle of the cut out skimmer section. Take down one. Realized each pole was upside down, take down 2. Time out mental breakdown happened. Husband lit the instructions on fire, said some mean things and proceeded to put the walls up for the third time. He finally got it. Now on to the liner installation. The over lap liner is cheap. It was easy to put on with using claps to help out the process. They did not come with pool kit but were a major help when putting the liner in. Invest in plastic claps. Get at LEAST 10 clamps. Is the overlap liner good quality? No but it will do temporarily. When we replace the liner in two years, most definitely going with a thicker liner that is beaded. Back to pool installation next we filled the pool up with water, hooked up to our filter we already had and boom we are now summer ready. Did he read every direction? Yes, huge chunks of important directions were nowhere in site. Extremely frustrating BUT also keep in mind this pool kit is extremely budget friendly. This same pool size was priced with installation for $7,800. We got this for $2,000. Husband and teen boys installed it. It took a full 12 hours but we also had a fire towards the end of installation. We can laugh about it now but whew! Would I purchased again? Yes. We discussed putting a smaller pool at our lake house. Would we install it ourselves, HECK NO. Never ever again ... show more

  • Exactly what we needed
Size: 12' Round Color: Meadows Reprieve
This pool looks fairly durable and fits in our spot. We got the 12 footer. The sour side frame looks good too. I will second all of those that said this thing was a pain to install. There are parts that are needed that may come as a surprise like paver stones for the foundation beams. Some parts of the instructions are not clear, like the discharge and suction have to be placed just right or a beam will be in the way so that you will have to rotate the whole skin to clear this up. Teflon tape will be a must. Worm gear clamps for the hoses. When placing the discharge hose in be careful how you tighten this, if the large threads turn too much it will slip the threads that tighten the directional nozzle inside the pool making it so lose you can’t aim the nozzle. ... show more

  • Great pool for $$$$
No paper instructions but easy to figure how to assemble although this was not my first pool installation

  • This is not a DIY
Pool quality is a 8/10. It defintally isn't a "high end" product.... but if you are handy it is defintally worth the cash.. No, you can't build it by yourself... it took an army of friends to put it up, do your research. If you have the means this product is awesome for the 💰! The screws it came with are trash, expect a few trips to the store. I am a contractor and it maxed out my abilities for sure, but in the end it is beautiful and functional. I worry that most the people who rate this pool less than 5 stars don't understand what they are getting themselves into, if you have patience and know how to see massive projects through, buy this kit and save thousands. If you expect it to be something you buy from Walmart, just move on. Overall after setup it is beautiful, strong, and worth every penny, but if you arnt capable... spend more money and hire a professional. ... show more

  • Satisfied with purchase
Size: 27' Round Color: Meadows Reprieve
We just finished filling ours up today. Nice pool and fast delivery. We had someone install for us and that was the best decision. We have installed smaller pools than this by ourself but was not thrilled about doing this size pool. Can’t wait to have a fun summer in this pool!

  • This is an entry level pool being sold at a luxury pool price. Liner different than listing.
Size: 15' Round Color: Meadows Reprieve
Overall, this pool package is a lower tier product that is definitely sold at lower prices when there isn't such an increased demand. The pool went together fine, with one person helping over 4-5 hours. The pool is sturdy and everything fit together as it should. Don't think its worth over $1500. I would expect to pay in the realm of $1000 for this. Pros: Instructions not hard to follow (once you find them). Everything fits together well. Can install in half a day if you're handy, with a helper. This doesn't include prep for the pool site. Skimmer provided is good quality. Cons: "Resin" is more of an extremely thin film. Worn off in multiple small spots due to jostling during shipping. Left with exposed raw steel. VERY thin metal. To the point where you need gloves for handling. Learned the hard way. Bottom rail is steel. Going to rust in Florida. Gonna rust ten times faster with salt water pump. Liner doesn't match the description. You'll get whatever they have in stock/cheapest. Hole for the return jet is too small. Only fits the valve provided with skimmer can't use standard valves that come with common pumps. Needs to be 1/16-1/8" diameter larger. Instructions come on a CD-ROM. Don't have one anymore. Had to google directions from a similar pool to get it together properly. Should come with printed instructions. ... show more
