  • Proper installation is KEY
Buy them. For the price you, cannot beat it. I’ve owned many coilovers for various vehicles, and these feel just as sturdy and durable as the rest. I set my spring stiffness to 16 clicks out of the box and it feels pretty good. Remember, when installing these you do not want to compress your coilover springs. If you do, you are increasing your pre load. Springs should be hand loose when the vehicle is off of the ground. The bad reviews are most likely from people who installed them incorrectly. In the pictures I have 2” wheel spacers up front with my camber maxed out on stock wheels. No rubbing issues whatsoever and I have plenty of room on the suspension to go another 1.5 inches lower. For the rear wheels I ordered 1.5” wheel spacers that should make my wheels sit flush with the fender to fill in the gap. Overall I am very happy with these and feel very confident now when driving. Install does require some mechanical skill or previous experience but American muscle offers a “how to” install video guide that explains everything. Good luck ! ... show more

  • Double check everything
Size: Challenger 2011-2022
I really don’t know how to rate these I purchased these installed them they make a creaking noise at slow speeds they sent me some parts to fix them I also put away bars and adjustable links front and rear rides so much better but can’t get past the creaking .

  • You get what you pay for
Size: Challenger 2011-2022
Easy to install. But be prepared to chase squeaks. I recommend some grease be added to all surfaces that touch another surface.

  • Great for the money
Only issue I had with these were the rear shocks did not collapse at the same length when the dampeners were screwed all the way down which causes the lowest lowering setting to be off by an inch on each side in the rear. Tried explaining it to customer service and they have no clue what I’m talking about. I guess I used too many mechanical terms but I also tried explaining it to customer service again in laymans term and They still have no clue. ... show more

  • Front are ok back I didn't use
First off let me give some background, I have been an ASE Certified technician for more than 25yrs and I do all of my own repairs and upgrades to my vehicles I rebuild transmissions for a living. I installed these exactly how any coilovers should be installed set the preload on the spring to a few different settings but no matter where I had them they were way to bouncy and it literally rod like a log wagon from the 1950's! I originally had lowering springs on my 03 mustang GT and they rod decent and I would've loved to just keep the lowering springs on it but I installed a BMR Tubular K member which did not have spring perches on it so there was no physical way to use my front springs so I had to order coilovers unfortunately. So I ended up only using the front since I kinda had to even if I were to use the back coilover they definitely would not allow it to go very low because if you actually look at the picture of the rear the way they are made with the shock screwed all the way down it's still longer than the factory shock when both of them are compressed so the shock that came in this kit would be bottoming out if you were to lower the rear with this kit. Definitely would not recommend buying this kit. And on top of all of that the red well what they call red is actually pink! Wasted $400 wish I could just return them. ... show more

  • Some fabrication required. Can’t beat the price though.
Doesn’t actually fit the front. You will have to trim the coils where the bolts fit on the bottom. Wasn’t terrible to do. But if your buying them expecting a straight bolt in you will be a bit disappointed. Other than that not a bad choice for the price.

  • The springs in the set are too stiff.
I bought this product because of the adjustability but no matter how soft you set the settings the ride was too rough. I have another set of coilovers on my other car and i thought they would be the same but i see they're not my other set has duel coils, soft and stiff and you can still adjust the height and the firmness of the ride I will be purchasing additional coils from eybach to make up for the rideability to make sure i can dial in the ride I like instead of what the builder of this set intended me to have. ... show more

  • Not great.
Ride quality at all settings is horrible and the camber plates pillow ball pops,as soon as you install them, when turning. Spring rates are too high in front and too low in back. But at 300 bucks you do get what you pay for.
