I've been using the L’Oreal Paris Men Expert One Twist Mess Free Permanent Hair Color for over two years now, and it works very well for me, and I am age 74 with very gray hair. I use Medium Brown or Dark Brown. I need to reapply about once a month. For me, I found that how long it lasts depends upon how often you cut your hair. The more you cut, the less time it will last, and the less you cut your hair, the more time it will last. I think it is a great product, and much simpler to apply than other men's hair coloring I have used, and much less harsh.

Then, another 20% after a week... basically, after 2 weeks. You are back to square one! and again, please remember, you do not get 100% black (or the color you desire) initially. You get 50%. Tips for customers, I switched to "Just for Men Easy Comb". Result I get 95% black initially, and after a week, still good! so, I WANT MY MONEY BACK, L'Oreal Paris!!!

This product was easy to use. Twist, shake, snap, and squeeze. The first three are easy. However, the squeeze part is not so much. The product container, while squeezable on the side, becomes cumbersome to squeeze as you get into the application. The bottom part of the bottle is rigid enough that it prevents squeezing out the rest of the content out. I would have preferred it if they made the bottle a little skinny but longer and perhaps tapered at the end, just like the end of a toothpaste tube. That would make application a lot easier. One tip for guys with buzzed cuts, please apply the product comb along with the natural direction of your hair. If you're going against it, you'll notice a lot of splattering around you. Also, if you have vinyl or latex gloves that fit you, use those instead of the cellophane gloves that come with the product. They are oversize most of the time and will make your application messy. Last tip is to apply a coat of Vaseline along your hairline so that the dye won't permeate your skin. As for how effective the dye is, it's pretty good. I'd say that my hair color developed so quickly.

Great for women wanting to touch up roots! I use it to prolong my next hair appointment. I despise spending time at a beauty salon, if only I could take my head off and drop it off and go about my day. This comes in handy. It’s not messy at all. If you have real thick hair you’d need more than one bottle or a different product. I usually use most of it and my hair is between thin and thick. I also take a little and put it on a Qtip and use it on my eyebrows. Works great! They would only make something this simple and mess free for men 🙄 I think it may be less expensive that woman’s root touch up (the pink tax). I have it on a subscription, so I never run out.! Edit: this month the packaging came in another language🤨…could be an issue if you have never used before.

Not only did they decrease the amount of actual chemical solution in this product, but the container is an authentic torture in your fingers when you try to squeeze out the product from the hard plastic bottle. I’m already looking for an alternative hair dye brand.
