I been a loyal customer of Just For Men for many years. This product hardly makes any mess. The dye is just for the hair and my skin doesn’t turn colors like the dye with Just For Men. When I wash it out hardly any dye is anywhere. It bonds to the hair great. Some flaws though. It’s hard to open. I had to use a long nose pliers to break tab The ball inside blocks the flow at times The hair becomes rough but o let conditioner stay in hair for 6 minutes to make my hair soft again But overall the product is good. ... show more

Color: 02 Real Black/H55 Size: 1.7 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)
This product was easy to use. Twist, shake, snap, and squeeze. The first three are easy. However, the squeeze part is not so much. The product container, while squeezable on the side, becomes cumbersome to squeeze as you get into the application. The bottom part of the bottle is rigid enough that it prevents squeezing out the rest of the content out. I would have preferred it if they made the bottle a little skinny but longer and perhaps tapered at the end, just like the end of a toothpaste tube. That would make application a lot easier. One tip for guys with buzzed cuts, please apply the product comb along with the natural direction of your hair. If you're going against it, you'll notice a lot of splattering around you. Also, if you have vinyl or latex gloves that fit you, use those instead of the cellophane gloves that come with the product. They are oversize most of the time and will make your application messy. Last tip is to apply a coat of Vaseline along your hairline so that the dye won't permeate your skin. As for how effective the dye is, it's pretty good. This product helps me eliminate the grey quicker than any other product. It also eliminates the mess and over-blackening of the head during application. Over-blackening occurs when you apply the product, and when going to work, people at work can see that you dye your air because your head is black. To eliminate this I usually get rid of the grey on the weekends. However, the price is slightly higher than that of different applicators. ... show more

It's easy to apply but even after the five minutes in, once I wash it in water, it all comes out! Not worth the time or money. However, if I don't wash it, it looks dark, but once rinsed with water it all comes out, so it's not really dye or cheap dye or inferior dye. At any rate, it doesn't like water but seems to color the hair as is even after shaking the bottle per the instructions. ... show more
