It looked like it was going to be purple because the dye itself started changing colors, but after leaving it on my hair for at least 25 minutes, my hair did not change at all. I've been using the L'Oréal dark to red for years now and have always had great results. I wanted to try something new colorwise and so glad I picked the intense violet,it's so beautiful! I love how this formula doesn't hurt my hair and really does lift and deposit the color as promised. So for those who say it doesn’t work, my hair didn’t change a color. Y’all ain’t doing it right. I have Asian hair and that’s the hardest hair to dye because my hair is naturally black. Black hair = hardest to dye. So I left it in for 2 and a half hours and bam. I got the most vibrant hair color. No my hair didn’t fall out. You gotta leave it in longer then 20 mins.
