It’s a great size for my Netherland dwarf, she has lots of room to play. I love the attachment that allows additional space for her liter box without taking up play room. I read the hard to assemble reviews but we didn’t have any issues, about 30 mins. Dislikes, the stairs are not ideal for her so I didn’t need to replace those. The water bottle leaks, replaced that too. The door is somewhat of a mess, I don’t like it’s flimsy and not an easy open and close. Again, it’s good for her. She is very small and we make it work. My little bunny loves the space. She isnt confined to jjst it. I just use it for her bathroom and food and water. When she needs something she hops in and does whatever she needs to. You cant set anything with weivht on top or the wire bends. I wouldnt pick it up by the wire,peobably would come apart from the base. I had no trouble assembling it. Well, it seems like a good cage. I received NO instructions, and there is nothing online yet about how to assemble this big guy, so It took me 1 hour and 48 minutes to put together. Also some of the pieces didn't actually fit? the front left corner, for example, no matter what I did I could not get that wire side to fit, it physically was too long, so after I spent a lot of time swapping different pieces around to see if they fit better, I gave up and actually cut a little chunk from the corner brace thingie. (don't know what it is called because I didn't have any instructions the "L" shaped piece that the two wire parts of the cage snap into and then sits on top of the base) Anyways Once it is put together I like it...for the most part. the "doors" are actually just the side of the cage, so they are a pain to open, for a few reasons. you have to unsnap the two clasps per door, lift the entire side over the lip of the base (not easy because of the way it is attached to the cage) and then the whole thing can swing up and it holds itself in place fully open, which although is a nice big open door, it does mean you have to back up all the way to get out of it's way until it is open. they also don't open so far that you could just pay them flat on top of the cage, they go out at like a 45 degree angle from the cage, so they are kind of always in the way. Also the water bottles (which are a joke by the way, they are extremely cheap, I attached a picture to show what I mean) can't hang on the front of the main cage, so I have them on the detachable part, and it looks silly, since you need to be able to open the doors there is no water bottle space available except the detachable part of the cage, or the sides or back, but I don't want to deal with spilling on the back or sides so they are both by the other end of the cage. the whole thing is ridiculously flimsy until you get the clasps holding the base to the wire, then it firms up a bit but remember you have to open 4 of those clasps to open the cage so the cage goes back to being flimsy again if the door is open. I feel like a few connector pieces on the corners and the sides would have really helped with this problem. another flimsy part is the house, it is just the top and the ramp part (the ramp by the way is all but vertical so it is essentially not a ramp at all but just a partial front wall) thats it, no sides no back, those are made up from the base of the cage, so I feel that although it works... it isn't very sturdy, my guinea pigs are tiny and gentle so it's not a concern for me, but I can't imagine one of those big bunnies hopping around in there without constantly knocking it flat. The hay bins are ok I guess, nothing to write home about. SO you have heard all the negative and if you have gotten this far you probably have a lot of reservations about buying this cage. BUT WAIT even after all the above issues. I DO like the cage. It is huge, and not just long, it is decently wide too. It is actually TOO big for my house in reality, I feel like you walk into the room and go "holy cow guinea pig cage!" and you don't really see anything else because it dominates the room. So that is really personal preference, my guinea pigs are super happy, we only got them a few days ago and they are a bit shy, but we put them in this cage and they were immediately popcorning around and happily chortling and were out of their hides much more than they were in their temporary cage, BUT it is huge so make sure you have room for this monstrous cage. SO long story short, No it's not a perfect cage, but my guinea pigs are very happy with it and I haven't found a better one (besides those ones you build yourself with those storage cube wire thingies, but in my opinion those always look a little home made if you know what I mean) ... show more

Great purchase with a couple of future improvements to be made

Style: XXL Rabbit Cage

This is a great enclosure for a rabbit, especially a large one. There are two things that could use improvement. One, in order to change the bedding efficiently the entire cage must be taken off. The bedding can then be scooped out and the cage put back on. The problem is putting the cage back on without the clips preventing reseating. It would be convenient if the clips snapped into an open position above as well as the closed position below. Two, the bottle and bottle mount don't work well. The bottle mount's crossbar is too short and as a result, is too easy for my rabbit to knock it off the wire cage. Also, the bottle doesn't really stay put in the bottle mount. I had to cover the bottle mount with electrical tape so that the fit was tight enough to prevent slippage when the bottle is full. Also, I purchased a smaller version of this for guinea pigs and that cage had a top opening option. It's much easier to put food and water in through the top opening than the side opening. Not really a big deal in my particular circumstance because I regularly let my rabbit out to roam the house, so it's easy just to set the food and water bottle just inside the side opening. If those two things were on this product I would say that it is one of the best purchases that I have made this year. If I need another enclosure for whatever reason I do plan on buying rebuying this. I have a Flemish Giant rabbit, so it's gigantic for a rabbit even though it isn't fully grown, and this is one of the few enclosures with enough space that she can move around in. Not enough that she can be in there long term, she's bigger than my 12 lb. dog, but overnight and a portion of the day when I'm away from the house. But this enclosure is designed for two or possibly three much smaller rabbits, not the one gigantic one that I have. ... show more

Very large animals love it. Bottom has a pattern that resembles graph paper raised lines makes cleaning a bit hard. Not very sturdy so if you have a larger animal that wants in this would not be a good choice

Best cage for rabbits

I ended up ordering 2 of these cages for my rabbits. They absolutely love them. I have a small lionhead and an angora and they both have plenty of space to stretch out. The only downside is that my angora likes to stretch out on the food bowl platform and there's not enough room for her and her food bowl. The food bowl can't be moved from that spot without leaving the placeholder for it in the way still. I do like the fact that they're not cramped and that the bottom is plastic and doesn't have any wire to hurt their feet. ... show more

Hard to assemble but worth it

As others said it was very difficult to assemble (especially since I was doing it by myself lol). Some pieces snap together fine but some were almost impossible (it never did get flush with other piece but I let it go). My rabbit digs constantly and it’s held up very well. Top pieces are pretty easy to take off and put back but I advise never taking the plastic part apart if you can help it. Once assembly was done I’ve been very pleased with it. ... show more
