Made a trip back home last year and stayed with my parents. Have to say I was rather disappointed in the shower heads they had in both bathrooms; I'm sure they were clogged with minerals because there was little water coming out. Anyway, got home and ordered a (very nice) shower head but my mother didn't want to give up her hand held shower head, so for for Mother's Day I found this dual head combo. I wanted to be sure to get something that would last so I got a Kohler, which is the same brand as the shower head we have so I know they are good. The shower stall upstairs is tiny and I was afraid the shower head might end up being too high and cascade out of the stall, so I found this model with dual heads. The heads spin on the fly so they can sit vertically or shift to the side to sit horizontally, depending on your mood or preference. My son installed it along with one for a Father's Day gift for the other bathroom (my parents are in their 90's, so I didn't want them to do it). Easy-peasy install. My parents love them to the point that whenever I have called (over the last few months) my father has made a point to say how much he is enjoying his. They both like the magnetic coupler for the hand held head; my mother says it works very well and thinks it is easier for my father to use than the hanger on the old one (he had brain surgery years ago and has trouble learning new things). Now I'm looking forward to showering during our next trip back home, and I'm sure the rest of the family will thank me as well ;) ... show more

My only complaint is that there is no leverage point to switch between the head and hand wand. Just a small nub. Hard to switch. Nothing to really grip onto. Other than that, it’s great. Quality build for its price range.

We replaced a large rain shower head with this one. Both my husband and I now take extra long showers. I have no clue why, but time literally slows down when we take a shower with this. It’s so relaxing!! The magnetic attachment is strong and don’t have any concerns with it falling. I love the rotating feature as our shower spout is high and I’m short. So this was one of the only ones that would allow me to reach the handle without going to the extra work of drilling a bar into the wall. Looks great. Really easy to install and no leaks! Remodeling our master bath, we are trying to upgrade. Foolishly I assumed that something made by Kohler was high quality. This showerhead is completely made of plastic except for the hose. The control/adjustment feels loosey goosey. I guess I am naïve but I was shocked when I opened the package. I can't imagine this thing would last long at all. I'm sending it back tomorrow and ordering a Hammerhead shower head. Supposedly all metal. Basically same money. Search it on Amazon or go direct to their website. I hope I'm not disappointed again. I liked that it was the Kohler brand so I thought it would be really high-quality. it’s still plastic and hard to switch over to the secondary unit. The magnetic connection works pretty well. so if you’re in the shower and you only have one working because you need the force of the water and then you go to switch it to a handheld which is very difficult when your hands are wet it’s kind of a dumb design.
