The disc will not turn up soil, even moist soil, without weight added. We added some cinder blocks to get the disc to cut through soil. The disc axle connection broke the first time we used the disc. King Cutter will not honor a warranty on the product if you add any weight, but it is impossible to use the disc if you don't add weight. It took me over 2 months for King Cutter to tell me that they wouldn't honor the warranty. Save your money and do not purchase this item. ... show more

This is good for trails in the woods that are full of routes but need to go up and down a couple of times they are easy to use only thing you need to put on it is the hitch they work good for preparing a garden for planting

    • Needs something to force it down
Is too light. Have to do figure eights or it just rolls accross the surface. Should make it so that you can easily add a couple hundred pounds to make it dig in. My soil is all river loam and even then it just rolls on top of the ground.
