Just received my Pro Lift Mower Jack. I am using it on my Sears Craftsman T3300 mower to change the cutting blades and scrape the deck clean. Super simple to assemble, just follow the directions. My lawn tractor is 516lbs, and the Pro Lift Mower Jack has a 300lb. capacity. Since the mower jack is not supporting all 516lbs., the 300lb. weight limit was fine supporting the front end of the tractor. As when using any type of jack, I would recommend using additional jack stands just to be safe. Otherwise, the Pro Lift Mower Jack handled my lawn tractor just fine. I am 100% satisfied with this purchase. Also, when you are putting the tire holders on the jack, they do not lay flush when the jack is in its closed position. The tire holders will be pitched upward when the jack is completely flat. This is necessary to accept the angle of lifting the front end of the tractor. ... show more

This is a piece of junk. Was missing parts, the bottle jack won't even hold it's own weight , and the so called safety bracket broke like a twig. Do not waste your money. 1 star is too high of a rating but had to leave something.

Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the lift. Sturdy and nice finish though out. Lifts my mower high enough to work on the deck while doing it safely.

Good lift with one exception which required modification to accommodate a 50" Toro Timecutter ZTM. The black lift pads are not wide enough requiring drilling of 2 holes to increase the width of the pads. A 42" Craftsman lawn tractor fits perfectly in the original mounts. Assembling the lift was dead simple with all nuts, bolts and holes aligned perfectly. Hardened bolts and cone-lock-type nuts are provided. The lift works well and is simple to use. The unit rolls well on a concrete floor and I store it that way in the garage. ... show more

    • Improved shipping but needs to be wider
So after reading reviews about poor packaging and missing parts I was pleasantly surprised. It was neatly packed and partially assembled. All the nuts, bolts, and screws were started into their proper holes. Assembly only took about 30 minutes because of the improved packaging and some pre-assembly. It appears heavy and well-built. The only improvement would be to have a full page parts diagram to assist assembly. Be careful and take your time as this has heavy moving parts that provide many opportunities to pinch your fingers and other body parts. Just start your assembly with the wheels on the ground and don't try to pick it up until it's fully assembled. Update: So I tried to use it for the first time to put on new blades on my Raptor 54 inches zero turn but the wheels are too far apart to fit on the lift. The only quick solution was to drill 2 new holes in the wheel baskets allow an inch more of width on each side. I'm downgrading to 3 stars because it would have been simple to have 3 predrilled holes on each side so it could be adapted for zero turn mowers. ... show more

Solid choice to lift your riding lawn mower safely to change blades. This lift performs flawlessly. Yes the instructions suck as others have mentioned but most of the lift is already put together so not too bad.

I was in shock when I saw the condition of the shipping carton when it arrived! However, nothing was damaged or missing!! To the manufactures credit - all hardware is already attached in place, where it needs to be. No guessing what-goes-where. Assembly was quick and easy, 30 minutes the most.
