  • Great product
Great for strict pull ups, kipping pull ups, chest to bar pull ups and toes to bar. Needs to be on a very flat surface or will lose stability when kipping. Pretty easy to assemble and very sturdy. I would definitely recommend this pull up bar. The only negative is the foam on the bar loses grip after you start sweating. ... show more

  • It works
Easy to assemble. Adjustable. Sturdy when working out.

  • It's great, but could use better hardware
Everything I wanted, sturdy, etc., but could use better bolt hardware. I ended up using my own locking nuts and other hardware to make it easier to adjust it and prevent nuts getting loose. Spent about 15 bucks on additional hardware.

  • As good as advertised, maybe better
I've had mine for a few months. It is working great and feels like a lifetime purchase. It is plenty of value for the money. I don't think there is anything else really like it and would recommend it heartily. Purchasing this went very smoothly. The seller reached out to ensure my choices and shipping plan was correct and clear. They were cautious in shipping promises, but the package arrived more quickly than expected (ships from overseas). The packaging was sturdy and protective. With all metal parts and powder coating, this is important. There were only one or two minor scuffs on the finish but nothing detrimental. Putting the rack together couldn't have been easier. This has clearly been well designed and tested for assembly. Part sizes are exact and hardware complexity is minimized. The frame itself is heavy and sturdy. There may be people for whom this isn't big enough or heavy enough, but you are talking extreme outlier height/weight types (college/pro basketball, NFL linemen, etc.). Amateur athletes and weekend warriors will have no issues. Being able to fold this away into a tight space is such a game changer for your home gym. I have it set up in my home office. It opens up and folds away in less than a minute. But remember it is heavy, so when folding it away make sure you can secure it - if it falls, it is breaking something, maybe you. There is only one knock on this piece IMO, which is the choice of hardware. To keep assembly simple and costs lower, there are only 2 bolt sizes and one nut-thread size. The bolts and nuts are hex and so can be easily tightened down with any spanner, socket, or even adjustable wrench. That works to build the stand, but it isn't the best set of hardware to own and use this thing long term. First, for the joints that don't move/rotate/disassemble, plan to add pipe washers (curved) for additional friction along with locknuts or lock washers for long term torque. Second, for the parts that disassemble for storage or moving, plan to add lock washers and to replace the hex nuts with wingnuts. You certainly can skip this, but in that case you are either a) keeping wrenches nearby for torqueing nuts whenever you adjust the frame, or else b) hand tightening your hex nuts, which is wrong and unsafe for a device you're putting your body weight on. In conclusion this stand is highly recommended, but I also suggest dropping a few extra dollars for the best hardware. You'll enjoy this for life. ... show more

  • I would buy it again
Pros: Portability (disassembles and folds easily for storage); Flexibility (lots of adjustable height options, and I regularly add my gymnastics rings for a variety of exercises); Ease of Use (light enough for moving around and setting up / disassembling); Stability (although the structure moves slightly side to side when you first jump up to the bar, I feel secure when using it; you can also easily tighten the bolts, and the rubber footings grip the floor well); Comfortable hand grips Seller communication (although Seller required an extra step for delivery verification and encouraged me to film opening the package in case of broken equipment during shipping, sounded like a diligent seller and a reasonable one that has navigated some tenuous situations previously) Cons: Price (wish it were cheaper, but I haven’t found anything else on the market that comes close); Potential for extra anchor equipment (you may need to use sandbags or other anchors for the legs if you plan to do swinging exercises or pulling the bar from an angle; for my varied exercise routine including rings and resistance bands that hang directly down from the bar, I don’t need sandbags; If zero movement stability made the bar less portable and easily stored, I wouldn’t buy it. Fortunately, I’m really happy and feel secure using it (even for inverted exercises). I’d buy it again. ... show more

  • Solid pull-up bar
-Product was delivered quickly and company owner sends emails with additional manual and information. -Not as easy to set up if doing it by yourself. The Youtube video makes it look like a breeze, but it's not. The bars are heavy and it does take some strength and effort to get the bars aligned correctly. -Holes on one bar were drill by the manufacturer at a slight angle causing the entire apparatus to be slightly skewed where the A frame wanted to twist (without the side stabilizing brackets attached]. Once everything is secured it looks fine, but I did notice that the holes were a little off and it took several tries to push a screw through two holes that weren't properly aligned. And I followed the instructions and video meticulously. -I'm 6'5" and 235 Lbs. and this can take my weight. -Product does shake from side to side, however when you're doing pull-up you don't feel the sway. Basically when weight is applied to this product (up and down) the structure is solid. If you were to move side to side you would feel the slight sway. -Overall I feel secure on this equipment more than other pull-up bars I've used (either self standing or placed in a door-way). --Once it's up you won't be adjusting the height at all. It's too cumbersome to constantly adjust. Pick a height and you're good to go. --Definitely pricey but I figured without paying for a gym membership then why not? If you already pay for a gym then I'd say use the pull up bar at the gym (since this product is large and does take up room). ... show more
