Description

Spectracide® Bug Stop® Home Barrier2 Refill is designed for use with Spectracide® Bug Stop® Home Barrier with AccuShot® Sprayer. This powerful formula kills on contact to provide indoor and outdoor insect control. Plus, it provides up to 12 months of control for cockroaches on non-porous surfaces. Use indoors and as an outdoor foundation treatment against ants, roaches, spiders, fleas, silverfish and other listed insects. This water-based, clear formula leaves no odor or oily residue. Spray inside in cracks and crevices, along baseboards, under sinks, behind stoves and refrigerators, and anywhere insects may hide. Use outside on outer surfaces of screens, door and window frames, porches, patios, buildings and wherever insects may enter, or as a perimeter treatment along your home foundation. Remove cap and replace with reusable AccuShot® cap and Sprayer. The AccuShot® Sprayer reduces hand fatigue with a 2-finger trigger and a continuous action power sprayer – no pumping or squeezing, just press to spray. This battery-powered wand is also extendable for improved accuracy (batteries included).

In past years, at times had tiny ants make it in the wall, on sunny warm front of house. I use this and find ant gel to be excellent too. For this jug, I actually do an annual application in the front of house along foundation. Don't worry about bushes and plants, I have had no issues. My special application: in Spring, like late March to early April, I actually pour this entire jug along the bottom of the brick front along foundation. It worked last year. No ants! I did it this year too. Then later buy a second one for spraying (refill existing bottle or buy one with spray handle), then spray any ants you may see outside now and then. I hate to be mean, I love animals and even set live spiders free if I see them in my finished basement. But ants, I have no mercy. Not allowed in my house! Gross! ... show more

I use this product for a few weeks now. It takes a few weeks before noticing a difference depending on the amount of bugs you have. I didn't have alot of bugs. I just don't want to see any bugs. I sprayed a couple of times since purchasing. Today was the first day I didn't see a bug. It also doesn't kill a bug on the spot,I had to spray a bug a few times before it stopped moving. Also this product does have a smell. If you're sensitive to smells wear a mask, and open the windows. I'm not returning the product but will monitor how well it works moving forward. I use this Spectracide bug stop on a monthly basis. I spray inside around the baseboards and outside around the foundation. It works. I have not had ant, roach or bug problems of any kind.
