This is the third steam mop I've purchased. I had a Shark (forgot the model), which I loved, but it died and I couldn't find another one, so I ordered the Moolan 12-in 1 Multipurpose 1300W (twice--the first one dropped dead within the warranty time and the second one died shortly after the warranty expired). So far, this thing works pretty well, but I cannot, for the life of me, figure out why they label it as a vacuum cleaner (although I didn't want a vacuum cleaner so I don't really care--just curious is all). It's easy to operate, cleans great and stands up straight. I'd love it if there was a pad for cleaning the walls, but I figure I can rig something up because I do need that option. It gets hot really fast and I can hardly wait to try it out on my stove grills. I've always been a huge fan of Kenmore, so we'll see if this one holds up to its name. If not, I'll be back with an update.

I previously had a steam mop that died. It was cheap so I didn’t stress too much over it dying since I’d bought it just to see if I’d like a steam mop better. That one took sooo long to heat up, that I could have got a mop and bucket and cleaned my floors faster. This one heats up fast!! It’s amazing how fast I can get my floors really clean. Plus I used it in my oven just to see if it would work…it did, and also did great on my shower doors. Let me tell you, this is literally the all in one cleaning tool. Plus it’s lightweight so cleaning is a breeze. I don’t regret buying this one, and if you’re on the fence….just buy it. I promise you won’t regret it!

Kenmore 2 in 1 steam mop. I have owned a few steam mops which I would consider quality products. This mop is right up there. I mainly use it as a mop. It’s lightweight, versatile and gets the job done. It comes with whatever attachments you would need; jet, fan, scrub brush carpet slide and two pads. It can be used as a standup mop or handheld unit. It also has a decent warranty. Where this unit falls short, pun intended, is it’s cord length. I think its only around 13’. Not the end of the world and most similar products have the same issue. The other issue I have with this unit is that I question its disinfecting prowess when used as a mop. From what I understand, for a steam mop to be effective at disinfecting, it has to reach a temperature of 108° or better for a minimum of 8 seconds. I believe this unit gives off a steady cloud of steam at that temp but, when used as a mop the pads might hinder that. This is mainly due to the design. If you look at the bottom, there is only one jet where steam is omitted. Most units at this price point and below are designed like this, its just not limited to this unit. A better design would have multiple steam jets for more spread. For instance, a previous mop I owned had eleven jets. All in all this is a decent, well made steam mop by a well known company at an affordable price. I would recommend it unless you would like to spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars.

The mop arrived in perfect condition, with all the parts in the box. Put it together, added water, waited the recommended few seconds so the element could get hot, and tried it out on the tile floor in our laundry room. It worked so well, I was thrilled! I moved into the kitchen from there, and nothing. No steam coming out at all. 0. I unplugged it, plugged it back in, and tried again. Nothing. Got mad, unplugged it, and stuck it in the laundry room. Tried again a few days later, and still no steam. Sent it back and got a refund. I don't even want to try a Kenmore again.

It’s good for floors but not good if you’re using it for anything else. Example cleaning stove with adapters doesn’t produce as much steam and when using mop for floor. Also if you don’t have it pointing down towards tip it stops producing steam. As soonest you point the tip up stops steam. Honestly disappointed was planning to use in in my shower trying to figure out how to clean anything above my shoulders. Because I have to point tip up and steam not coming out.

It heats up fairly quickly and it is easy to fill and clean and switch from the mop to the handheld steamer. I read reviews about how the cord isn’t long enough, and I can concur, I wish it was longer. I have to switch outlets 5 times to get all the floors in my apartment . 😆 Not a deal breaker. Probably a cordless would be best, but this mop is nice for the price.
