We recently bought the Shark Steam Mop and have been extremely happy with it. We have hardwood floors throughout the house and several animals, so keeping the floors clean can be a constant battle. This makes it incredibly quick and easy. It heats up fast, is lightweight and easy to maneuver, and does a great job picking up the everyday dirt and grime that comes with having pets. I especially like being able to clean the floors with steam instead of constantly using cleaning chemicals. The floors look clean and refreshed without being left overly wet or streaky. It’s also simple enough that we actually use it regularly instead of dragging out a traditional mop and bucket. If you have sealed hardwood floors, pets, or just want an easier way to keep your floors clean, I definitely recommend it. Great purchase and easily five stars.

don't normally write reviews but Ohh My! great performance! especially for the price. I can't afford to buy a wicked expensive professional high end steamer, so went for this. I did 4 rooms rinsing/hand washing the pad in between rooms. time consuming for first run but wanted to do it right as the directions instructed. tip.. take yr time with patience. a small area at a time, moving the mop slow, pumping the handle for good steam. as instructed go over the area numerous times (per directions 15 strokes), slowly. I broke it down to smaller patches of floor at a time. took a lot of breaks so I had patience. after the steam cleaning I mopped all the floors with my swiffer (reusable cloth pad) n pine sol to test how dirty the swiffer pad got as opposed to normally. huge difference! barely dirty swiffer pad, indicating the steam mop did the job. tested out barefoot & my floors feel soo smoothe n clean! also my house is high traffic from people and PETS. even with cleaning regularly the mop pad got verry dirty, i know it took a lot of dirt off the floors that normal cleaning just dont achieve. made a HUGE differences to crevices & edges where grime builds up. note: over time the floors will get even cleaner, can't expect perfection one round with built up dirt that hasn't been thoroughly cleaned by normal mopping. as time goes by can probably lighten up with the time spent & the repetitions. is plastic but thats a great thing, is light making it very easy to keep going! Just be careful not to bang it up or toss it around. reaches under furniture items great! manuevers with ease in all directions. wish the water reservoir was bigger had to refill several times, however as I said I took my time going over all areas numerous times, pumping out lots of steam. I will probably thoroughly steam mop the floors periodically, in between do normal mopping. have a new ceramic tile bathroom floor that per the instructions, I did not use the steam mop. if it's not coated or sealed it can discolor the ceramic. read all the directions. the cord is frustrating, in the way. i hold it up as i mop but for the price and performance i can deal with that. don't hesitate my house feels so clean n sanitized!

I am very happy with how well this reasonably priced steam mop works. The steam is strong and thoroughly cleans my laminate floors and is very EASY to use. I do not, however, like the length of the cord. It’s too short! I also find the water container extremely difficult to remove to fill and refill. If you can deal with these two factors then this is the mop for you!

Immediate love. Had some muddy paw prints through my back room and it not only cleaned the prints but left a streak free floor. No kid footprints, no smears either. It was beautiful and I love this mop. Easy to use. Cord is an acceptable length but extension cords are cheap so if you wanna go further for a bigger floor I recommend using one. 5 stars for sure and the ritual burning of my old mop lol. Just make sure you sweep the floor first. A 3-in-1 broom/vacuum/steamer would be lovely but this unfortunately isn't that. Pet hair, debris, dirt. Sweep first.

This thing is amazing for small spaces! quick clean ups!!! While I wouldn’t recommend it for a whole house cleaning, it’s amazing for what I need! Quick kitchen spills & elderly dog accidents. Easy & quick. I’ve used this every day for the past week and will likely continue as it does an amazing job of cleaning & sanitizing small messes! Definitely order the extra pads unless you wanna do a load of laundry every other day!! This is a million times easier than filling the whole mop bucket and emptying dirty water after 15 min. Yes, it takes a minute to heat up and start steaming and showing “wet” on the floor. Basic physics. Doesn’t leave a fragrance smell but it also no longer smells like urine when I’m done in the room.

Wasn’t sure how I was going to like cleaning without chemicals. But, I am glad that I took the chance on this amazing piece of cleaning greatness! The steam mop is very lightweight, easy to fill with water, heats up fast and cleans tile like a pro. I have white wood tile throughout my house and it has never looked better! All while protecting my dog and kids from toxic chemicals. This steam mop is the most effective tool in my cleaning routine.

Spend your money on the next model up. This one takes forever to heat. There’s no on/off. There’s no indicator when it’s ready for use. The water tank clicks in funny and after 10 or so uses will start to leak while you’re mopping. I love the ease of use and lack of harsh cleaning products, but disappointed in this model.

I had a much older model Shark Steam Mop. After many years it was time to replace it. Wow! This one is light weight and steams really well. It is simple and easy to use. Just what I like. I like that the steam does the cleaning with no product needed. The last thing I like is that the pads I still have for the old Sharp Steam Mop fit this new one.
