Excellent cookware, easy cleanup, and it looks good. We have a new induction top stove. I HATE it! I had high-quality cookware I've used for over thirty years. It would not work on the induction top. I bought three other sets that a magnetic would stick to, but they would not work on the stove. I was ready to pour gasoline on the stove and set it afire, then saw this set. It was the color I wanted, and I wanted to go with the white ceramic type interior for cleanup and less fat in the cooking. This set works very well on the stovetop, it is heavy enough to now warp when cooking on high heat, but not too heavy in weight to comfortably handle, looks great, cooks well, and is very easy to clean up. The easy return at Amazon is why I bought this set before giving up. I'm glad I did, it is serving us well, even my wife and two daughters can cook with this. ... show more

These pans came perfectly packed! There is so much in the box! The color of the pans is a beautiful blue. The glass lids fit perfect inside each pan. The handles on the lids are a beautiful blue as well and have a nice grip. I have used the Dutch Oven, the 9.5" fry pan, and both of the wooden utensils so far. Clean up was so easy after cooking! The utensils worked perfect and I didn't have to worry about them leaving scratches on the white surface. Another great feature is that all the pans stack together nice and sleek! I tried to phase out my old toxic nonstick cookware a few years ago, so I bought a set of ceramic coated cookware from T-Fal. The ceramic on that developed pits on the pieces I used frequently and the bottoms were torn up, so I needed replacements. This set is heavier than my T-Fal ceramic set, but I actually like that. It feels really well-made. I cooked bacon last night in one of T-Fal frying pans and one of the ones from this set, and this set definitely outperformed the other. Less stuff stuck and it was much easier to clean. I also forgot to turn my rice down after it started boiling once and I was amazed that after several minutes, the bottom wasn't a scorched mess. (I was actually able to salvage the rice!) There is no way that would have happened with any of my old cookware. I will update down the road if I have any issues, but so far, I feel like this was a great purchase. The blue color is fabulous, too! ... show more

Kenmore Ceramic Cookware checked off everything I was looking for: healthy, non-stick, glass tops (4 of them when most sets come with three), good strong handles that don't heat up, use on any stovetop including induction, and most of all "dishwasher safe." They are pretty too and have the right weight. So, the problem is that although the advertisement on Amazon said they were "dishwasher safe" and seemed easy to use, the enclosed instructions are giving the impression that this cookware has to be treated with extra care and hand washing is recommended. I am not a gourmet cook and I've never oiled a pan after use in my life. My thoughts are that you use a pot and put it in the dishwasher. So, I really don't know how well this cookware will stand up. I thought about returning them but have decided that I will just see how they do over time and hope that they remain healthy to use when they come out of the dishwasher. They are still a better choice than plain non-stick cookware. And they certainly checked off all my other requirements extremely well. ... show more

I had been looking for a new cookware set, and had done my share of returning other sets for one problem or another. I never realized how exhausting it can be to research all the different cookware sets out there and then try to pick one! I've only had this set for about a week but I think this one is a keeper. First, it's beautiful. Second, it's quite substantial -- it's not a flimsy set. It really seems durable. It has the basic pieces that we need, and nothing we don't need. Nothing sticks, it cleans up very easily (hand wash), the exterior enamel shines beautifully after every wash, and if you use silicone utensils (I do) you can rest assured that your nonstick surface will last a long, long time. The handles are super comfortable and always stay cool. The only thing I noticed (and I'm not sure it's a concern really) is that after washing the lids, a tiny bit of soapy water appears trapped between the glass and the metal rim around the edges. But in the morning it's gone. Overall, a beautiful, durable set at a great price. ... show more
