    • Unexpected seam mars the look...

The shade sail came promptly, had minimal instructions for installation, but there are plenty of youtube demos. I purchased the installation hardware kit, and still had to go to the hardware store for 2 additional carabiners and chain long enough to properly install with adequate tension through the diagonal lines, as instructed. Only after we had the shade installed did we realize it's not one continuous 13', but 2 pieces, one approx. 10' and the other approx. 3,' with an apparently sturdy seam--off center and obvious--reversing the installation put the seam in a less conspicuous place. I'll come back when I've had a season or two to assess the sturdiness and durability. Does the job I purchased it to do, minor complaints, and seems value for the money. ... show more

I love the ease of use and the sturdy rings and fabric that attach them. Itโ€™s slightly stretchy so make sure to take that into account before mounting. So far, so good. Iโ€™m buying another for my camper and my house!

    • Buy larger than you think you need - dimensions are based on the โ€œtipโ€ of the corners!

We use it to shield a car that is parked outside. It keeps the car cool and protects it from some of the elements. The mesh does catch stuff from the trees, including birdcrap but it tends to get stuck and is hard to remove. Overall works great though.
