Sturdy, 1 in rod . Love the bronze color and marble finials. Used with white drapes and looks wonderful. Extended the rod 80 inches and it did need a center bracket, even though the drapes were only 3 lbs. The brackets are hard to get to with electric drill.the screws are light weight so used a little heavier one. The rod itself is heavy then with drapes will sag in middle. Put mine on wide glass patio door. Recommend but would advise heavier screws. And know hard to drill in screws because the bracket gets in the way. The finish on the rod is good and my drapes slide easily side to side without scratching rod surface. ... show more

My only complaint would be the screws. Our walls (paneling) were hard to screw into and they kept stripping. Fortunately we didn’t use all the brackets so we had extra screws. Pleased with the look though!
