But then again, he’s a corgi. The one thing I don’t like is the way the little tag fob hangs. For some reason he has ample access to bite on his city dog tags and scuff them up. I do like the collar though. I might buy another in a darker plaid for the holidays.

Loved this collar so much for our miniature schnauzer Chap, that I replaced the first one with an identical second one. I'm heartbroken that our younger mini schnauzer chewed the clasp & broke it! I originally bought the red plaid dog collar (in large, for reference) for my husky because the reviews were really good and I liked the design. My dog is mostly outside and he often escapes so I needed a durable collar that would hold his tag just incase he ever got too far/lost. I can say that it held up almost 2 years of everyday use, but eventually it did break. The little grey clip that held his dog tag broke one day when he was out digging and doing dog stuff around 1-2 months ago, and last week the actual buckle finally broke (it cracked so it did not close fully). Another great thing was that the color didn't fade, one wash after it gets dirty and it was bright red again. However, I did not walk my dog using this collar as he uses a harness, the collar purely was for holding his tags. So, I do not know if that would have effected how long it lasted. The price is up there in terms of dog collars, but I think it is worth it considering how durable and comfortable it is too. I had to use a different brand collar (I had his old collar I think I got from Walmart for like 6 bucks) when the old red one broke and when I took it off for the night I could see the dent left in his fur from the collar and it did not seem comfortable for him. With this collar, there is no dent when I take it out and doesn't leave his fur tangled. I decided to go ahead and buy another one (I got the navy blue and red plaid this time), and I think I will continue to buy them unless I end up finding another one we like. I tried to get pictures that show his collar, but he’s fluffy so it doesn’t show well! ... show more

I've had two of these collars for my dogs for over a year now. They are still in great shape, very little or no wear on them. Slightly faded, but there's no way around that. The best part is the clasp has never come undone on either of these. I've tried other collars and had issues with them seemingly opening by themselves. I'll buy these again when they do wear out (or more likely when I want to renew the beautiful colors they come in originally) ... show more

I got this for my dog, which should seem obvious, but you never know. He doesn't really care about what color his collars are, just as long as they are comfortable. I picked the colors I liked and that seemed to satisfy him. I quickly switched his tags to the new collar, put it on him, told him how dashing he looked and proceeded to take more pictures than my camera roll allows. He then stretched his neck, grabbed his bone and laid down on his bed. That's satisfaction right there. He's been wearing it for quite a while now when I noticed that it's actually upside down. I tried to point it out but he doesn't seem to care. I guess this is just our lives now..... ... show more

This was my first Blueberry collar and it will definitely not be my last. I bought cute collars for my two female dogs at PetSmart but I can never find any handsome collars for my boy. I finally took to Amazon and was blown away by the beautiful collars Blueberry was selling. I bought the blue plaid for my big guy and it is absolutely gorgeous on him. PLUS and it's a big plus, the collar is soft and cushy so he looks so much more comfortable than those rough nylon collars. Now I need to buy two more for my girls but the options are endless and I could be sitting on Amazon for a good hour trying to make up my mind. Haha. And not only is this the best collar I have seen in the 30+ years of buying pet collars, the price is right along with all other collars out there, but so so much better quality. I have a 6-month-old Yorkie who outgrew the XS Boots & Barkley collar I bought him at Target and the second collar (the same Target one in S) got really smelly and I can't wash it due to the metal buckle. I had looked at Blueberry collars for a while, but wasn't sure I if I wanted to spend that much upfront on a collar. It just came in a few hours ago and I love it! I got the Hudson Blue color and my puppy looks even cuter with it on! I love how it has a buckle and is much easier to get on and off than his old collar. I only gave it four stars, because my 7.5 pound puppy needs something that fits a 9-11" neck. The nylon Blueberry colors come in XS, but I picked this one for the pattern and material that would make it easier for me to wash and keep my dog's collar clean and odor-free. If Blueberry ever begins to make these in an XS, I'll be the first to buy one! ... show more
