Just got the hose and got it installed and we are extremely pleased with it. It is heavy duty and I believe it will last a substantially long time. We were able to turn part of the hose "upside down" so it becomes a soaker hose rather than spray so we can protect our windows from well water with calcium (minerals) that accumulate on the windows. This sprays the water downward as a soaker, yet away from the windows it serves as a spray just as described. The landscape staples that come with it are a great idea and hold the hose securely in place. For the price, we feel this is a great value when compared to other hoses on the market and there is no indication the hose will kink. We have an extensive flower garden and after seeing this hose and the great quality, we ordered a second one to extend into our ferns. ... show more

I got this for a strip of my yard along the road that always seems browner than the rest. I didn't inspect every hole, but appears to work well, so far, projecting fountains of water up to about 3' feet high, at full blast. The little stakes they include are very helpful, too, since it won't lay flat on its own, having been packaged in a roll. If some are hard to push all the way into the ground, you can just cut them shorter, which is what I intend to do. The price is quite decent, as well, as I've seen similar ones, locally, for 5-10 dollars more. ... show more

I used this hose to add some water to some new turf we put down. I didn't want to run the entire irrigation zone twice a day and flood my existing grass, so this solution allowed me to supply more targeted watering to just the area we wanted. The hose worked well for this purpose. I'm not sure about long-term durability, but I don't think this product is intended to be left out in the sun every day or the whole summer. Thought they didn't make these anymore. Perfect for a thin, long strip of grass or a flower bed. It's can be placed so it lightly sprays or downward as a super soaker hose.

    • Good useful product for the lawn
I got it to water my flower and veggie garden that I was planning to have in spring. However, the plan didn't work out and instead I decided to use that as a watering equipment for my lawn around the mulch and stone bed. I can now use sprinkler in the center of the lawn while this will keep the area around the bed moist. It was easy to use and all fitting worked properly. It doesn't appear to be of super high quality but should last couple of seasons easily. The plastic fittings are the main concern as it will not be replaceable once worn or cracked but its a useful hose to have for your lawn. I definitely see it as more valuable on flower/veggie bed and can easily moist a big area in no time without you walking around everyday. ... show more
