It gets the job done. It’s stout, the jack action/hydraulics are solid. The corner holds on the extension brackets are low quality, as is the mounting hardware. On its second use I sheared a few of the holds off just from the weight of an nv3500 5 speed (small trans) sliding out. It is black, not yellow. 3/5 because it’s pretty good, but there is surely better for the price. ... show more

The Jack works great and does what it's supposed to do, but the safety chain is only Half as long as it should be. They really should double the length. It's always better to have too much. Mine lacked about 6 inches and I was going over a small manual transmission. Plan on buying a longer one. Otherwise, No complaints. It's a good Jack for the price. ... show more

In today's world of disposable products this stands above most and will do the job but I found the quality not as good as the ones I have used in the past. The hold down was small chain with a less than 1/4 inch hook and nut to keep the transmission tight and secure......it did neither. The scissor lift components were not the sturdiest and the connections not the tightest. Overall it will do the job of lifting a transmission but be careful! anything bigger than a passenger truck transmission I would not use it on. ... show more

I changed a tranny on a grand prix and a differential on a toyota sienna. No problems at all.
