The cleaning function generally works well. Cat detection has worked fine too. However, I've had issues since day 1 with the device constantly complaining that the disposal bag is "getting full" even when it's empty. I finally gave up and swapped the bag, even though it barely had anything in it. First bag change, one of the flimsy plastic locking rings broke. Thankfully they included a spare. But after that, the product will be rendered useless. Oh, and after swapping to a new bag, unsurprisingly, it has continued constantly complaining about the now empty bag being "almost full". Finally, and perhaps most concerningly, I attempted to reach out to support. The only email address listed in the manual is what appears to be a personal Gmail address. I couldn't find a functioning website for the company anywhere. I emailed the Gmail address almost a week ago and haven't heard back. I'll update this review if I ever hear back from them; but if not, I'll likely be returning this, unfortunately. ... show more

This is a great low cost value other than Litter Robot. I have the Bot which I love but...was too much money and I bought this for my sister who is frequently out of state and I take care of her cat. She has one adult small cat. I visit twice per week and make sure the litter is full and empty the bag. I probably could go a full week without issue. I would be concerned for a cat over 15 pounds and mulitple cats. Not sure how comfortable it would be. One feature I would love on the app is notice that its time to change the waste bag and evaluate how full it is. But you can't have everything. For the price this cat box is great! ... show more

I got this litter box to replace a similar one that I bought from another distributor. The previous one seemed to work ok, but it kept giving an error that the barrel wasn't on correctly, even though it was. Before deciding to replace it, I just added another Breeze litter box to the area, but the cat that likes automatic boxes was not happy about that. This one was actually a little less expensive than my previous one, and it's a lot simpler: it only has 2 buttons instead of 4, and instead of tying the garbage bag ties around a spindle, the bag goes into a holder that snaps into place. I like how the mat in this one is a sturdy material and is clearly marked "Left" and "Right" (in case the litter needs adjusting) and that the "minimum" and "maximum lines for litter are also clearly marked. I will say that I had a little trouble getting the unit out of the box; as a short person, it was kind of difficult to get my arms around it to properly unbox it. But, I was eventually able to do it. It is very easy to pair the unit with a smartphone; just hold the phone near the unit after pushing the button and it pairs pretty quickly. The instruction booklet is also written fairly clearly. Granted, this is not the name brand Litter Robot, but it's also not $550. However, after trying many different kinds of automatic litter boxes, I would definitely recommend this one. ... show more

Functions as expected. Just wish it could bump once or twice to make sure all poop is loosened and deposited into the trash bag before rotating back around. Some poop chunks are left after rotations.
